Chapter 60: The Plight of Scion
================================Kira's gaze was cold and indifferent as she watched Kladis approach Scion with a fast stride.
"Don't get close to me!" Scion shouted and cast a Freezing Fire Spell directly at Kladis.
Her casting speed was so fast that there was practically almost no delay time in between her second cast attempt.
The shards of misty blue ice were still present and the clouds of dust created by her act hasn't even dispelled yet when she then cast a Burning Ice spell.
ZWHOOM!!
Bluish flames erupted from the space beyond her palms and went directly at the area where Kladis should have been standing.
Scion cast five more spells, alternating between the spells while her eyes were still closed and laden with crystalline tears.
"Get away! Get away! Get away from me!" she was screaming with a frantic roar of anger and fear. The spells stacked up as she cast, creating a sight of a burning bluish flame atop sharply pointed slanted pillars of ice.
Technically, there are no direct fire or water-attribute spells in Terroa but combining many kinds of basic and advanced [phenomena] will create elemental effects.
Enchanted Items such as Stones, Gems, rock pieces, rare shards of metals, tiny pieces that fell from a Rune or a Legendary Item, or very rare Elemental and Mana Crystals can also help create these effects as they are items that don't need Mana inoculations to produce their essences. Their natural elemental properties are what make Enchanters go crazy for them. Naturally, these are also ingredients that Enchanters can use to be able to create many unique talismans.
The best example of a finished product of this creation would be Coralline's Gran Lightning Magic.
It was a talisman formed by having five Enchanted Items as cores of five unique Talismans... combined together to create the [effect] and [illusion] of her being able to summon five spirits when casting the Grand Magic.
Logically, Scion's [Burning Ice] and [Freezing Fire] are two examples of Unique Talismans... focused solely on casting and cooldown speed, disregarding the amount of Mana required to cast such a rare and impractical spell.
Her [Sage Meditation] Unique Skill, with a 50% max MNA regen every 10 seconds effect, enabled her to be the ultimate Caster.
And thinking about it, there are many combinations of talismans out there and many impractical spells, such as Scion's [Burning Ice] and [Freezing Fire], that are just two of the many talisman combinations that boosted damage + cooldown + cast speeds sacrificing the amount of MNA to be used.
But to answer its impracticality, the bottom line just comes down to the fact that many impractical talisman settings are solved by people like Scion and Siva who had Unique Skills to fill up the impracticality of the ability.
