Chapter 3
The Demon in Me
“Are we there yet?” I whined for the 5th time.
“No.” Answered Tao. “Why are you walking behind me anyway?”
“Because you’re the navigator, the leader of this trip, the mother goose! I need to walk behind you.”
“So I became a mother goose? Why?”
“Because the mother goose is also a navigator to the little geese, so they walk behind her.”
“Why don’t the walk next her?”
“I don’t know, I wasn’t a goose in my past life.” This kid!!
We walked further more and there was still no light. Thanks to the buildings and the walls, faint light, yup, it was like a dark paradise, more like a dangerous dark paradise. Each step we take the smell of danger becomes stronger. Tao is starting to have thoughts that someone is following us. ‘So humans have sense as well? Amazing.
“Hyung, I feel someone is following us.” He finally confessed.
I know, I can feel it too. “Maybe just a cat. Keep walking and don’t look back!” I said but I don’t think I calmed his nerves down because his mind was screaming with fear.
“H-HYUNG!!!”
“Just keep walking!”
*Crack* *Crack* *Crack*
“The noise is getting louder!!”
“RUN! JUST RUN!” I yelled. Tao began running and I ran after him. I could beat him with my speed but I needed to make sure his back is safe so I stayed behind. Whatever is behind us started running as well.
“You can’t escape me boy!” The voice yelled. It was a deep and scary voice. A devil’s voice.
“Who is that!” Tao stopped running and turned around. “What the…? Your eyes … why are they glowing like that?”
I couldn’t answer him. ‘I told you not to turn around!’ I looked at him, he was scared, his mind was full of things.
“Well, well, well. What do we have here.” The devil’s voice distracted us. “A vampire hanging out with a human? Pathetic.”
“Vampire? What’s going on? What is he talking about?” Tao asked confusingly. ‘So he is a vampire? Not true!’
“Ahh~ so you haven’t told him your little secret.” Devil smirked. “But there’s no need because you won’t be alive to tell. Thank you for hunting down my lunch!” He jumped to attack Tao but I blocked him and threw a punch causing him to fall back. He to up and smirked. “So you want to play dirty?” He jumped and attacked me. Punching me hard on the wall.
“HYUNG!” Tao screamed.
Devil was about to get to him but I stopped him. “Leave the human alone.”
*PUNCH*
The side of my mouth started bleeding. I felt my anger burning while my eyes started glowing red.
“Look at you. You wasted your time with a pathetic human and now you became weak.” *SMACK* “Humans are for eating not for playing.” *PUNCH* “So what are you going to do now?”
“I’m going to protect my friend!” I said. I looked at Tao who was standing in the corner with true fear on his face. “I’m going to protect him forever.”
*PUNCH* “You don’t get it. vampires feed on humans and if you don’t want the meal I’ll be more than happy to take it!”
'THAT’S IT!!’ I raised my fist in the air and punched him straight on his facing causing to fly high in the air then fall down with a big thud. ‘What the … what’s wrong with me?’ I started to feel my own demon waking up.
Devil got back up and punched me very hard then kicked my stomach, I started coughing up blood. *WACK* with an iron rod. ‘Where did he get that?’ *FLAP* *PUNCH* *KICK* On the last kick I held him in place and punched him. My inner demon was awake and ready to show of how much of a devil I am. With superpower I have, I was able to light fire and burn his face.
“OOWWWW~” I screamed in pain.
I shoot him with more fire balls until he laid unconsciously on the floor. He was finished. My body started moving towards him, wanting to kill him. I tried fighting the demon in me but kicked me back. Unwillingly I help Devil up high and sank my fangs in his throat, ripping it apart and drinking the blood. Once the demon was done he was back to sleep and I turned to my normal self.
“So …” Tao started. He was behind me. “You are a vampire. A demon just like this one. Right?”
I stayed silent. ‘A demon?’ I looked at my bloody stained hands.
“ANSWER ME!” He demanded.
I turned around and faced him, eye to eye. “Yes, I am.” His eyes opened wide. I got hurt, now I have no choice but to either kill him or turn him. “I am a blood sucking demon and if you don’t run away I will kill you! RUN AWAY!!” I yelled. Slowly he backed away and ran. ‘Tao, don’t go!’ I reached out my arm. ‘I only want to protect you.’ I turned around to look at the other vampire, he was starting to melt like ice. “I. Am. A. Demon.” I mumbled. He was right, I’m a cold demon.
My head started to hurt and my eyes filled with tears. I scared the person I’m close to.
*Badum*
*Badum*
*Badum*
I can’t take it anymore. My un-beating heart started to ache. I ran. I can’t fly. I don’t want to stay stuck on the ground. The demon in me won and killed Devil and scared Tao.
“Tao, I’m sorry. I’m sorry. Please forgive the demon in me. I tried fighting it bur it took over me.” I yelled into the night. I’m sorry~

(A/N: I’m sorry about this lame chapter but I was sleepy. I woke up at 3 in the morning and till now I’m outside my house. Haaaahhhhh~ do you guys want it to be a little yaoi?
