Beauty and the Beast
“I can’t wait to see her!” I mumbled as I walked through the crowd to Gaia’s house. I smile hat and fake eyeglasses were enough for me to turn from a K-pop idol to normal citizen. Girls will just tell their friends how cute I am and guess that I’m from Exo. Yup, I know how to live a normal life with a simple disguise. I reached her house and knocked on the door. Her house isn’t super wow but a small house were lower classes live, meaning they don’t have enough money but are still able to manage living.
The front do was opened and I met a kind face with a kind smile. “Kris! It’s very good to see you again!” Gaia’s mother said.
I politely smiled and bowed. “Forgive me for not visiting for a long time. Many things occupied me to the point I couldn’t go anywhere I want.” I say. Too many things like Tao’s transformation, dealing with the fact that most the people I know AKA Luhan, Chanyeol, and Luahn are Werewolves.
“You came to see Gaia? If so then she’s down at the park. She goes there everyday and waits for you.” She said.
“At the park?” I think I know which one she’s talking about. “Okay thank you. Please be careful!”
She nodded. “You be careful as well. Bye.”
“Bye.” I walked back down the stairs and to the park where Gaia awaits me. I entered the park’s gates and saw a figure standing near the mini lake fountain. Her white dress and black hair were moving with the gentle wind. ‘She may be a human but in my eyes she’s an angel.’ I walked to her and covered her eyes. “Who’s this?”
“Kris oppa!” She said and turned around and giggled. "I can recognize your voice you know!”
“Yes but I just wanted to of it. So how are you doing? Sorry I wasn’t around much!” I said. I feel bad for leaving her behind like this. Since I met her I just wanted to … see her everyday. ‘If my heart had a beat it will be beating very fast right now but instead there’s a weird feeling inside of me. Wonder what it is~’
“I understand that you’re busy.” She said. “I came here everyday to wait for you and look at the beautiful lake. Oppa I’m gaining my sight again slowly.”
“What? That’s great!!” That’s like a very good news.
“I can see but not clearly, very blurry. I can see a blurry figure standing in front of me, wearing a light blue top.”
I looked down at what I’m wearing. ‘She’s right.’ I looked back at her and hugged her. Once I realized what I was doing I let go and gave a nervous laugh. She was blushing. To change the subject I thought about something we can do together. “Hey, how about we go on a date?”
“A date!” Her smile grew bigeer, after a second her face transformed in a question mark. “What’s a date?” She asked.
‘What?’ I looked at her. “Well it’s when … a boy and a girl go out and have fun? It’s really hard to explain.” I said. (A/N: It’s hard for me as well!!)
“Okay. Let’s go.” She said. I nodded and stepped in front her to carry her on my back. “No, I want to walk. Thank you.”
“Okay.” I held her hand and walked together to the nearest fun spot. Once we reached there, we saw lots of food stands, game stands, music, everything like it’s a little party.
“I see too many figures and sparkly lights!” She said.
I smiled. I know how a blind person will be very happy to start seeing the real world but they won’t see it happy only but also cruel and violent. ‘Wait until she see me. A blood thirsty demon. She won’t talk to me anymore. I believe I should … let her … go.’
