More Surprises
“Guys I’m back!!” I said as I walked through the dorm’s door. Took of my shoes and went to the living room to find all guys blushing while they’re eyes were glued to the screen. It was the scene of Tigress hugging Po in the dungeon.
“They’re so cute~!” Suho sighed.
I shook my head and went to Tao’s room; knocked and went in. I saw him sitting next to the window; talking to Ace. “Tao, you alright?” I asked.
“Ace said that now I’m a complete vampire. Yay.” He said.
“What kind of wish did you had in your mind? Wishing to be a vampire instead of something else?!”
He smiled. “I have everything I wished for and went through all types of pain. Being a vampire was something I’ve wished for since I was a kid. Thank you.”
‘You’re crazy but still it’s good to have a wish come true. But this wish … Tao you’re one of a kind!!’ I shook my head. “Don’t mention it but you should know that you’re transformation isn’t done yet!!” I say.
He fell flat on his face from the chair. “What do you mean I didn’t finish transforming?”
“You think it’s like that? One full moon night and you’re done?” He nodded. “Nope. It will take another full moon to be completely a vampire!!”
“So? Now I’m still a human?”
‘I’m not sure.’ I answered silently. I took my hand and put on his chest, above his heart. “Impossible!” My eyes widened. His heart was … still beating.
“What’s wrong?” He asked sounding worried.
“Your heart … it’s still beating!”
“Of course it’s gonna be beating. You know we will die when the heart stops!!” He laughed.
“Not vampires!” Ace said. “Not your type not my type.”
“So … I’m not a vampire!” He sat with a frown on his face. “Put it still hurts a lot here.” He pointed at his heart. “And it’s hard to breath!”
“Then that means you’re slowly turning into a heartless monster!” A new voice said.
“Lay?” Both Tao and I were surprised. Ace flew away from fear.
“What do you mean a heartless monster?” I narrowed my eyes. Just because our hearts don’t beat doesn’t mean we’re heartless.
“Tao, you’re slowly turning. It’s safe to say that you’re 10% away from being a complete vampire.” Smirked Lay.
“How did you know??” Tao was completely puzzled.
“Just like a wolf senses everything, a werewolf can double sense everything!!” Said Lay.
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!” Came in Chanyeol and pounded Lay to the floor. Just like how a wolf pounds the other.
“Me? You’re the one who pushed me!!” Lay said as he got up.
“I thought that telling everyone that both of us are werewolf’s will be crazy!!”
‘So now this guy is also a werewolf? Are there more surprises coming my way?’ I crossed my arms.
“It’s okay to NOT tell the humans but these guys are fine.”
Chanyeol looked at Tao and me then back and Lay and asked, “Why are these two okay to know?” “Seriously?” Lay hit Chanyeol on his neck. “You were raised with a pack of wolfs and adopted to a werewolf family and you don’t know how to smell a vampire from a human?”
“I know the guys are humans but vampires? I didn’t pay any attention to that!!”
“Well now you will.” I said. “I’m a vampire and so is Tao!!”
“Well good to know!!” Smiled Chanyeol but in seconds his smile faded. “WHAT? YOU’RE A VAMPIRE? AND TAO TOO!! I’M A WEREWOLF? AND LAY TOO? AND THE REST ARE HUMANS? AND-“
“Hey be quiet!! Tao cut Chanyeol off. "None of the humans want to end up like me!”
Lay sighed and walked out. “Come Chan, we got nothing to do with these vampires!!”
“Sorry guys but even though werewolves have something against vampires, I have nothing against you two because we’ve been friends for almost 4 years now.” He said.
“If Lay knew we were vampires, how come you didn’t?” I asked.
“Because I don’t like going around and sniffing people.” He answered and left.
I looked at Tao who was in a complete confusion and fear. I went to the window to look for Ace but he wasn’t there. ‘Probably he went to fetch for an animal to feed on or something.’
“I’m thirsty.” Tao took my attention. “Not for water but for … blood.”
This is a complete enigma. If his heart didn’t stop beating then like Lay said, he’s only 10% away from being a true vampire at heart but how come he wants blood now. His eyes sparkled when he said ‘blood’. Come to thinking of it, I’m thirsty for blood as well. “Tao let me teach you a vampire hunts!”
“Yay~ let’s go but what about the beating heart?”
“Probably it will stop by midnight or tomorrow … or after a week. But I told you that you still need to transform until another full moon, this time it won’t be as painful as the last time!”
“Well that’s good because the pain was unbearable!! Now enough talk. LET THE HUNTING BEGIN!!” He raised his fist in the air.
“What hunting?” Someone form outside yelled.
“Nothing!!” I yelled back.
“We just want to hunt some … night bugs!!” Tao made an excuse.
‘You idiot I already said that nothing!’ I thought.
‘Now?’ Suho raised an eyebrow.
Lay and Chanyeol were sitting next Luhan talking. I need to ask either one of these wolves to tell me which is human and which is not.
“Okay bye now!” Tao grabbed me and ran out of the door.
“Hey wait a sec-“ We closed the dorm door before Suho could say anything.
“Okay let’s go. I’ll tell you how to hunt humans but don’t do it everyday. Once a month is okay, and …” I continued explaining to Tao how a human hunting works. Tonight will be really fun and good, I can feel it.
