Once again, Namjoon stuck to just shrugging in response to what Jin had said. There was no point in trying to 'prove' himself when it was quite obvious to the both of them that his actions were the furthest thing from an accident. But one thing was for sure, and that was, Jin blatantly telling Namjoon to stop touching him like he did only made the younger want to do it more, just to see what type of reaction he would get.
As Jin was finishing off his drink, Namjoon saw how his eyebrows perked up and thats when he knew he had gotten even the tiniest bit of the elders attention, and Namjoon was definitely going to keep it for as long as he could. Namjoon had looked for opportunities to accidentally brush against Jin again, but the elder did it himself while getting comfortable. And one thing that definitely went straight to Namjoon's head was the word 'daddy' slipping so effortlessly past Jin's lips. He didn't care that it was used in a more mocking and insulting way because just the fact that Jin went that route was intriguing. Sure thats what Namjoon had intended, but with Jin taking the bait, this was going to get a lot more interesting.
"What pegs me as 'not daddy enough'?" Namjoon asked with a smirk. If Jin had an opinion on why he wasn't daddy material then he would definitely have one about what would. The younger was chasing after as many details as he could, and the fact that he had alcohol in his system made him much more daring and straightforward. Namjoon's smirk was replaced by a genuine and dimple filled smile when Jin told him to stop giving the girl false hope. This was the first time he'd been told to stop by someone, when the person being led on was just a stranger to them, and Jin's selflessness regarding the girls feelings was extremely admirable. Namjoon figured that a simple 'as you wish' would suffice as his commitment to stop, as he stood from his seat.
"If that was true, then you certainly would've told me to fuck off by now." Namjoon said in response to Jin's attempts at trying to shoot down Namjoon's ego by claiming he wasn't of 'good taste'.
"Anyways, what're you wanting to drink?"
