Second Time's a Charm

 Usually.

But if there was anything Jin hated more than plaids being matched with camouflage, it was possibility. He needed something to be indefinite, not 'maybe' or perhaps' or 'there's a slight chance'. It was all bullshit to him. Either something was or was not possible, meant to be or whatever else you'd like to call it. Saying there was a possibility was like telling someone they have potential - books had potential. A rock had potential so what frikkin heck did that even mean? How great of a compliment was it really?

Namjoon had potential. That should be the first sign that it isn't really that nice of a thing to say to someone, unless, of course, you were like Namjoon and your goal was to be a jack ass.

You see, after Jin had left the bathroom to leave Namjoon and his thoughts alone, the young, innocent angel decided that it was a good time to call it a night. He wasn't too eager to interact with either Yoongi or Jimin, as the two were so far up one another's asses that even Jin had little faith in his ability to gain their attention, but he did admire them. As disgusting as it was. And as much as he would've loved nothing more than to interrupt them, his bed was aching for him and the comfort of his fluffy pink blanket was calling him forth. And this boy appreciated his time under the covers.

Bed time meant for a delicious, strawberry chocolatey snack, netflix and his four favorite little liars.

-------

It was roughly five in the afternoon when Jin discovered that Jimin was going to be abandoning him for the millionth time of the week, and to go where? Well, you probably could've guessed it correctly on your own, Yoongi's place. Now, Jin wasn't sure what the two men were up to, but he knew it was something and he sure as hell wasn't going to let Jimin go without throwing a couple hundred questions at him while he was getting ready.

"Okay but, like, since when were you two so close?"

"What do you mean? We've always been close. It's just that.. I don't know. We're just hanging out more because we have time, god."

"Jimin, you're as good a liar as I am passive aggressive. Don't lie to me."

"Oh. My. God. I'm not lying okay?"

"Mhm. Sure, bitch. Wait 'til I find something out. I'm gonna get some dirt out of you eventually."

"Hah, but you see, there's no dirt to dig up so- no. You're really not."

And it was then that a challenge had been declared and Jin was not the least bit hesitant in accepting. Since when did Jimin start combing his hair to go over to a 'friends' house exactly, because as far as Jin knew, Jimin didn't get himself all prettied up unless he was after something. More specifically, a someone.

"You can't hide from me forever Jimin. I know you. I know where you sleep, and I know what you smell like after you've had a good time." IT sounded creepy, yes, but Jimin knew exactly what Jin was talking about, and sadly all that the blonde male had said was true.

"Hm.. So, where did you and Namjoon go off to the other night, huh?" Jimin asked, his smirk showing in the reflection of the mirror, his eyes directed at Jin he was currently leaning against the threshold of the door behind him.

"Ah, the Fuck Boy Joonie? Please.. I'm sure he is wishing something happened, but it didn't." Jin stated, disinterest evident in his voice as he spoke. Since that night he hadn't thought too much about it, or at all. Nothing special between them happened, but he was damn sure that if he saw that stupid ass smile again he'd make sure Namjoon would remember. He didn't have a particular interest, but what harm could there been in playing around?

"His name isn't 'Fuck Boy Joonie', Jin, goddamn," He chuckled quietly whilst shaking his head and doing his best to perfect the part in his hair. "He's actually a pretty cool guy. I think you should give him a chance.. I might have been pretty ab- interested in my conversation with Yoongi, but Namjoon.. He was gawking a bit."

To this, Jin rolled his eyes and sighed dramatically before pushing himself from the threshold of the door and walking up behind Jimin, wrapping his arms around the smaller mans shoulders and then resting his chin on his shoulder. " Well, good for him. I wish I could gawk at me all night as well. Now hurry up and leave before I get tired of you as well."
