"What do you want to show me now?" A voice came from a cat that was both black and white. His eyes were sullen as he looked at the shecat that was next to him.

"Just the path that is destined. You cannot tell anyone of this path, not even the ones you trust the most. More death is to follow and only you can stop it." The shecat covered in the stars said quietly from his side. The black and white tom's eyes widened.

He didn't understand all of this and wasn't sure if he was suppose to see what is held in the future. He shifted uncomfortably before looking at her again. "Are you sure this is a good idea? Am I suppose to see what the future holds? I don't think this is safe. The future is suppose to be a mystery." He complained knowing that the future was bad for all of them.

Tinyclaw would have her kits in a few moons and Flamefur was due soon as well. Tinyclaw had killed two cats and who knows how many more that they haven't talked about. He was starting to get a bad feeling around her but he had to stay as her friend. She wouldn't kill him. He had helped kill a cat. Maplesnow had killed a cat. His clan was at war with SmallClan and the three still alive from when they lived there are uneasy. Cheetahpelt wanted to retire if they were going to be at war with his birth clan.

"Don't show it to him. That's a bad choice Lostkit. You will just scar him. The male is right. The future is a mystery for them for reasons. They don't need to know it." A new voice said. It was an old friend of the white and black tom. He remembered having fun and joking with him while he was still alive. He also killed the cat that was suspected of murdering him.

"But he needs to see how grim it is and how he can change it! You see how grim is it and I know you do. You are just looking after the one you love and you see it." Lostkit argued with the bigger tom. With the two next to her, she seemed tiny.

"No! He will not see how grim it is or what it even holds. He will only see it when it comes." He hissed lashing his tail back and forth in anger.

"Then can we show him the past? Can we show him how you died? Can we show him how those actions are going to lead to more? Huh Aquaclaw? Can we show him how you were murdered and how he helped kill the wrong cat?" Lostkit hissed looking up at the warrior. He flinched away from her and dipped his head before looking at her again.

"No, we cannot show him the past. We cannot show him things that will be revealed through time. We cannot show him how I died or how they killed an innocent cat. We cannot show him how those few actions are going to lead to so much more death and war." Aquaclaw said solemnly. He was trying so hard not to say too much.

"I don't want to know it. I don't care if Maplesnow and I killed the wrong cat. I don't care about any of it! Stop arguing! I have to wake up soon anyways." The black and white tom finally spoke up glaring at the two. Lostkit jumped and hid behind one of Aquaclaw's legs scared of the apprentice.

"Yes, go ahead and wake up Witheredpaw. I feel like today is going to be a long one for you. Just be careful and don't speak about what we have told you to anyone. Go now. You must get on patrol." Aquaclaw said before he started to fade.

Witheredpaw sighed but saw a new cat in the dream before he vanished. It looked like it was Stripeflash. He must have died. He would have to find him before the crows did.

"Come on lazy bones! We have to go and patrol the EverClan border." A sudden voice called from next to him that was shaking the tom. He blinked his eyes and saw Tinyclaw next to him. He smiled thankful it was her and got up slowly.

"I'm coming, I'm coming. Let's go." He said with a small nod following her out of the apprentice den. He was glad they made up as well. He didn't want her to be too mad. He could see the bump in her stomach now. He was sure other cats could see it too but they never said anything about it.

"Thank you. Come on, Tigerstripe is leading the patrol and we can't keep that grumpy tom waiting." She laughed heading toward where other cats where waiting.

You aren't going to scare me Lostkit. Don't worry, I will keep a look out and make sure I don't slip up. It takes a lot more than the future to scare me. Witheredpaw thought as he looked at the bright blue sky. He followed after Tinyclaw quickly and headed out of the camp with everyone else.
