Warriors: Second Strike: Banished to the Dark

Chapter 20

[Silverstar's POV]

I looked over my clan and sighed. We only had one queen, no kits, no apprentices, warriors, and no elders. We needed some new blood but the kits wouldn't come for a while. I decided to sleep to get some answers and see if we needed to recruit some other cats or if we should just wait until the kits came and hope we get more sooner or later. I curled up in my nest and closed my eyes willing myself to go to sleep.

I woke up in StarClan and saw Bluesnow heading over to me with Flashstar. I tilted my head at the odd pair confused on what they needed.

"Silverstar, have a seat. We have a few things we have to tell you so you know what to do." Flashstar said as he sat down and curled his tail around his front paws. Beside him not right next to him, Bluesnow did the same. I titled my head slightly but sat down in front of them.

"Alright, what are these things? I did have some questions but I guess I'll ask them later." I said curling my tail around my paws as well.

"First off, Tinyclaw has been exiled from the clans. Midnightstar will release this information at the next gathering but we caught sight of one of your cats meeting her at the border. I just want to warn you since she is a huge threat to all the clans. She controls the Dark Forest with a paw since they will listen to her. She's already making plans for attacking the clans. We don't know when these plans will take place but most likely when everyone is vulnerable." Bluesnow said flicking her tail against her paws as she stared at me with her light blue eyes. I could tell she wanted to say something else but she didn't do it.

"I'll make sure none of my warriors are meeting with her. Do you have any names or can you not tell them to me?" I asked them curiously. I doubted that they could give me the actual names of them, but it was worth a shot.

"I'm sorry. We can't." Flashstar said first then continued on. "Second thing, we may need to recruit more cats soon. Not many shecats are giving birth and we don't have any other kits." The past leader said looking at me.

"Thank you. I will get onto that soon." I told them before looking to Bluesnow again.

"There is one more thing. I didn't want to be the one to say it, but Shadow isn't around at the moment. We learned something new about our parents. Only Flamefur knows at the moment and Shadow is telling Tigerstripe now. I'm here to tell you. Shadow had a little with two different fathers. Cheetahpelt, you, and I all have a different father than Tigerstripe and Flamefur. His name was Mud. Most of his looks went into Cheetahpelt even though his peace loving attitude went into all three of us.

"Brown, who is Tigerstripe, Flamefur, and Cosmo's father, has the fight loving attitude. The two were brothers but both cared about Shadow a lot. When she gave birth to us, she didn't know it was possible we had two different fathers. When she later died, StarClan told her. I was the first to know but only a little after I died." Bluesnow said looking at me with her eyes of love. I blinked for a moment trying to process it.

"Thank you for telling me all of this." I whispered then willed myself to wake up not wanting to talk to them anymore.
