(Trittany)

*Trevor's POV*

I fiddled with the top of my navy blue button down anxiously and watched as the crew scurried around, fixing the lighting or something, setting a romantic mood. I was on set about to film the big send off date James had prepared for Riley before he leaves for London, which caused emotions on set to run high, but this time even the atmosphere felt different. I was waiting for Brittany to come out of wardrobe...the stylist could just throw me in a shirt and tease my hair, but B had to be perfect because, yaknow, she's a girl and perfection "takes time" . I closed my eyes and leaned back, getting into my own headspace. Sure, it was easy for me to play cocky James, sarcastic James, and even the popular sweet, charming James. My everyday personality was very similar to those qualities, so it was no big deal. This scene, however, was going to challenge me to be confident but keep a steady level of sensitivity towards Brittany's character. It being a very sentimental part of the show, I knew there was going to be a "romantic" slow dance, but that didn't really bother me either. Brittany was really sweet to work with...she wasn't too bad on the eyes either...

"Oh! Here she comes!" I heard Frank call loudly.

I heard the steady trot of heels enter the studio, and I took a peek at her opening one of my eyes. I couldn't really see much because Britt was being bombarded with touchups, all I saw was her hair which was done up in a braid crowning her head. I looked to the side to see Shane, Lamar, and Issac enter. The boys always gave me a hard time about doing date scenes with Britt. They would claim they would be quiet and just sit and watch, but end up making kissy noises or over the top 'oooos' and 'awwws'.

"You look beautiful Brittany." Frank said proudly. "Ok places everyone!"

The crowd around Brittany dispersed and only then was I able to see her fully. She smiled as she walked towards the table. The guys whistled and called at her as she neared the center of the studio, watching the fabric of her floral dress sway with her every swift leg movement.

"Oh stop!" She giggled rolling her eyes playfully at them and taking a seat. "You ready Trev?"

I wanted to respond, but I couldn't.

She gave me a blank look. "Something wrong? Is there something on my face?"

She looked like an angel. But how was I supposed to tell my on screen partner that?

"D-do I look ok, or? "

I was trying to think of something to say...but again the words weren't forming, which was odd because I was really good at improvising when filming. The way her hair nicely complemented her soft facial features. How her dress fit her curves and tiny body frame perfectly. How she didn't know how truly beautiful she was...

Couldn't improvise my way out of this one...

"Y-you..erm...look nice." Was all I was able to mutter.

"Thanks." She smiled softly.

Frank called action and we ran our lines, with Luke singing, and James eventually calling on Riley to dance. We swayed for a few minutes. Brittany giggled and looked down as I made the special 'eyes' to her like I did to relax her, yaknow, calm her nerves a bit. Then we finished carrying out the scene. This felt different...like I was losing something when it was over.
