*Still Saturday March 30*
I make my way to the boss's office not knowing what to expect. What should I expect? Is he going to fire me? Did he find someone to replace me?
I wait outside the door since he's on the phone with someone. The door is opened the slightest bit, I can hear parts of his conversation.
"....they're getting attached to her.....I don't know... maybe we'll give them both three months... I think she should get maybe a month... Park is getting attached to her..." I hear.
Is he talking about Revy?
Maybe I could bug his computer... find out what he's talking about. Yeah, I'll bug his computer.
I knock on the door, and he opens it. His phone in his hand, he holds up a finger.
"Come and sit down, I'll be back in about 10 minutes." He said and left his office.
I go to his desk and see that he's already logged in. I end up bugging his computer and microphone, putting a tracking device on his briefcase and sit down in one of the chairs opposite from his, just as I hear him coming.
"Sorry to keep you waiting," he said as he sat down in his chair.
"That's alright." I said and waved it off.
"So about the boys, how's everything going with you and them?" He asked.
"Everything is going according to schedule." I nod my head.
"Do you think perhaps any of them are getting attached to you or Miss. Jean? Or perhaps one of you two are getting attached to one of them?" He asked.
"I don't think-" he cuts me off.
"You both are temporary, you shouldn't be getting attached to any of them. You'll both leave and get replaced soon." He said.
Not hurtful at all...
"How long exactly are you giving us?" I asked.
"Well, you said you had a schedule already made for the next three months. Plus, if we were to replace you now, we would need someone who knows the guys well and can handle them. Someone who is trained and experienced, someone who is right for the job." He tells me.
"Are you saying I'm not right for the job?" I asked.
"Yes, you are not right for the job. For one thing you're younger than all of them-" I cut him off this time.
"Not Jungkook." I said.
"As I was saying, you are younger than most of them and they seem to be getting attached." He says.
"So I still have the same question, how long exactly are you giving us?" I ask my question again.
"I'm thinking three months at the most but you have to start looking for a replacement now and train them so that they are ready to take over when you leave." He tells me.
"Okay, I can do that." I agreed.
"I said three months but that doesn't mean you'll get three months, just three months at the most." He tells me.
"Okay then," I sighed.
"Here's all the possible candidates for the job. Figure it out, call them in for an interview, have them meet the guys, figure out which one is the best for the job. Something along the lines of that." He hands me a folder. "I think the one on top might be the best for the job, but it's your decision."
"I'll get right on it." I said with a fake smile.
"You're dismissed." He said.
I got up and left.
