On My Mind..

When I walked out of the building a while later, I see my mom and Leah talking. It's been a while since I went in because of the test and driving. So yeah.
I start walking towards them, I pull on an act.
I make myself look sad when they turn to me.
"Awe baby, what's wrong?," my mom asks.
I sigh and was trying my hardest not to break the act by laughing.
"Great..," I mumble while pretending to ignore my moms question.
"Aw I'm sorry Ashton..," Leah says.
I start laughing.
"For what? I passed," I held up my license.
Leah punched me lightly.
"You tricked me!," she yells while laughing with me.
"I tricked both of you actually," I say.
I got in the drivers seat and my mom got in the passengers seat. Leah had to go in her car because that's how she got here.
I start the car and head onto the road while making sure to follow all the rules of the road.
"Your doing awesome!," my mom says and jokingly punches my arm.
"Hey don't hit the driver!," we laugh.
Once we make it back to our house, we head inside and Leah follows.
"Leah would you like to stay for supper?," my mom asks her.
"Yes please, thank you," my mom nods.
"Oh and don't go all at it up there but if you do.. use protection," my mom says and walks out of the room.
"Mom!!," I yell and embarrassedly walked to my room with Leah.
Leah was laughing hard.
"My mom is the same way.. my dad is on the more protective side but he'll like you," Leah says and we sit down.
We mostly talk and then my mom calls us for dinner.
Ohhh potatoes and steak!
We begin eating and having small talk.
"So Leah.. your the one Ashton has been talking about for 2 years! I see why.. your beautiful and kind," my mom says.
Leah and I smile at each other.
"Thank you Jay," Leah says.
"When did you guys become a couple?," my mother asks.
"Yesterday," I smile and kiss Leah on the cheek.
My mother smiles and we continue eating.
We all cleaned up when supper was done and watched movies.
At 10 pm, Leah's dad texted her telling her to come home.
"I'll see you tomorrow.. I'll drive us to school," I say and kiss her.
She nods.
"Love you," she says.
"I love you too," I say and watches her car leave down the street until I can't see it anymore.
"She's the one Ashton," my mom says.
I nod.
"I know."
Smiling, I say goodnight to my mom and get ready for bed.
I climb into bed after texting Leah good night and I love her.
Soon I was asleep.
