Heyyy I'm back. Sorry for the long wait. Hope you enjoy! There's only a few chapters left.

It has been a week since I woke up. Today is the day I can leave the hospital. About time.
I already got dressed in some clothes and finally out of that hospital gown. Sitting on the hospital bed impatiently waiting for My mom and Leah, I play angry birds on my phone. Don't judge me.
"Hey Ashton," I hear from the doorway.
I look up to see my mom. I smile and stand up off the bed. I slowly walk towards her. I am able to walk without clutches anymore. Those things are annoying by the way.
Just as I hug my mom, a nurse walks in pushing a wheelchair. I inwardly groan at the sight of the wheel chair but sit down in it anyway. The nurse steps back so my mom could push the wheel chair.
"Where's Leah?" I ask and lay my head way back so I could look up at my mothers face.
She chuckles. "Waiting out front."
I nod and smile.
When we make it to the front doors, I stand up out of the wheel chair and push my way through the doors. I spot Leah standing next to black ford pickup truck. I look at my mom questionably. She only smiles and we walk towards Leah.
"For you," Leah smiles.
I look at both of them shocked. I open then close my mouth. A smile slowly makes it on my face as I hug them both.
"Oh my god! Thank you!"
"I don't think it's a good idea for you to drive since you just got out of the hospital," my mom says.
I roll my eyes with a smile.
"Please?," I ask using puppy dog eyes.
She thinks about it for a moment. Finally she sighs.
"Fine."
I squeal but then awkwardly cough, I try to play it off. Leah is giggling as I rub the back of my head. Smooth Ashton smooth. My mom drops the keys into my hand.
"Be careful," she warns my sternly but breaks into a grin as I nod.
I drive us back to our house and we all get out.
"I'll make tea," my mom says as we all walk into the kitchen.
Leah and I sit at the table as my mom puts the teapot on the stove.
"So, it's been awhile.. you know since I was last in school so I was thinking why not go back on Monday?," I start.
My mom looks over.
"You just got out of the hospital after being in a coma and you want to go back to school?, my mom raises an eyebrow.
"Yes, I have so much work to do already. Plus it's Friday, I have two days before Monday."
"Are you sure? I mean you can take another week off," my mom says.
"I'm sure," I say.
She nods slowly, "okay."
I turn towards Leah.
"Thank you," I say.
She looks at me confused, "for what?"
"Being here," I mumble softly.
She places her hands on my cheeks.
"Of coarse. I love you."
"I love you too," I gently kiss her.
My mom places the tea in front of us.
"Thank you," I say to her.
"Your welcome sweetie."
The doorbell suddenly rings. I get up.
"I'll get it."
I open the door to find Jake and a few of his buddies.
"Hey man," he gives me a fist bump and I invite them in.
"Hey," I chuckle.
And the rest of the night included movies, drinks and food.
