DRAKE

I couldn't win with her she's a bloody tease.. first it's me she's eying off than it's that bloody Ryan, I need to do something to prove to her that I love her and I want her to say it back. The next hour of my life will hurt like hell but for her, It's worth it. Not to mention everything I do is for her, and her only.

"So pet you want to go through the process do you?" She hissed at me with deathly eyes.

"Not for anyone but Ruby." I said confidently.

"The slayer's daughter? Poor Drake, helpless and in love with a filthy human.. what will you do when she still doesn't accept you, come here and ask for a refund? I don't do refunds!" She spat.

"I don't want a refund just hurry up and get it over with will yo.." I got cut off by her stabbing the sickle through my palm to shut me up, the next thing I knew she slapped her hand against my chest and it lit up and burned like you wouldn't believe!!, I felt like I was dying...I should know what that feels like, it's happened before.

I started to feel the pain more crucial than ever it made my eyes and head start to feel faint my eyes rolled to the back of my head and I passed out.

RUBY

I had to find Drake I had to go through that town, I ran from home all the way to the entrance of the town, I walked through naturally, and at an opening space I bolted and ran like crazy to the big building with a devil with horns symbol split in half I pulled the doors open and ran inside.

I had the worst feeling wash over me, "Drake?" I said quietly trying to hear him. I walked further down, "Drake?"

"Ruuuby, help me pleasee!" A voice I recognised anywhere came through the walls.

"DRAKE!!!" I yelled running through the doors he was hanging like a prisoner shirt off and slices in certain places like he had surgery or somethings been put inside him. Not caring I ran up to him.

"Ruby you came!" He said sounding so relieved.

I said nothing I just uncuffed him and untied him and we walked all the way back to his crypt... I put him on the cement block and got a blanket and put it over him. I locked the heavy doors, went and lay down beside him and fell asleep. We were safe in here, so he could wake up and tell me what happened.

I'm guessing it was nightfall because even though his crypt was always dark unless candles were lit, you could see the sunlight... there was no sun light it was blue, which meant moonlight. I felt him stir so I got up and lit the candles.

He rolled over and sat up. I walked over too him and knelt down in front of him. "What happened in there?" I said trying not to cry with how much they hurt him.

"It was horrible Ruby.. they ripped me apart to change me, it hurt like hell! The worst pain I've ever experienced in my life, but it was worth it because it means I can be with you. He stood up and I stood up facing him.

"What do you mean so you could be with me?" I asked confused... "What did they do to you...." I said breaking away suddenly.

"They put a chip in my head, which stops me from withdrawing for human blood... animal blood sure.. but I can't kill it hurts when my teeth hit the skin. and the soul is different... but because of all the women I've killed they've stopped from killing people like a vampire would."

"You got a soul???? Regardless you're a killer Drake!! you killed Ryan! He died at the kitchen table after you stormed out. Yet for some STUPID REASON I still came looking for you RISKING my own life and for what? You to tell me you can't hurt people anymore, when I  need you against my father?? What am I supposed to do now?!!!" I yelled at him.

"You think getting a soul's going to make you stronger if you got it for battle, it was the worst thing you could have done right now!!!" I snapped at him so badly.

He put his shirt back on and walked right up into my face almost close enough for our noses to touch..

"As daft a notion soulful Drake the killer is, it's nothing compared to the idea that another girl come mean anything to me. This chip they did to me, I couldn't help it. But the soul, I got on my own.... FOR YOU." He said pointing his finger at me.

"Can you take the chip out? Will that let you kill again without it hurting I'm guessing that's what it does." I said firmly forgetting he already told me that. Not even caring I repeated what he JUST said that... Not taking into account a gratitude that he got it in to help me make sure he won't hurt anyone again, so I really WOULD be safe with him... I needed him as a killer... unfortunately, it was the only way we would have a slight fighting chance of coming out of all of this, any of this alive.

"Yes, you'd have to help me get it out, it's going to hurt like hell." He said sitting down tilting his head. I didn't hold off, I needed him to be able to kill regardless of what he's done, I'm fucked without him.

"Ready? On the count of three... one..... two...... THREE, I put the tweezers into his ear and slowly pulled out this metal chip I've never heard him in so much pain.

"ARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" He yelled so loudly gripping his ears when I got it out, he was rocking back and forth.

"Are you okay, I'm sorry but it had to be done." I said putting my hand on his shoulder.

He growled at me and pinned me up against the wall. "Seems like I'm fine. Not that you even care." He snapped...
He bit down on my neck and I felt him peirce my skin he pulled away quickly. "I didnt hurt this time! It didnt hurt I'm half back. Thanks to you, that was bloody horrible." He said pulling me into a hug. "Sorry love, I needed to see if I had that control again. I hope I didn't scare you too much."

I didn't say anything I just put my coat on and walked out. Knowing he'd follow me.
