Ch 3 The Story and the Trap

(Sorry it took so long since I'm babysitting)
I woke up and changed into a black t-shirt, a red leather jacket, black pants, and red boots. I put on my two necklaces and put my hair in a high ponytail. Everybody was in the living room including my brother.
"Look Kaitlynn I'm sorry that I said I don't need you because I do," Anthony said. "Kaitlynn Night you are the only real family I have so will you forgive me?"
"Yes," I said.
I hugged him after running down the stairs. He hugged back and smiled. Everybody smiled then turned serious.
"Do you have a plan?" Lauren asked.
"First I want to see Elisabeth then we can think of a plan," I said.
"Let's go," Seth said.
"As long as Kaitlynn trusts you," Diamond said."we trust you."
"If you betray us though," Jamez said."nobody will regret killing you."
Seth gulped and nodded. I will I thought.
We went to my room and went through the portal. Everything was dying and the power was dying too.
"Hey guys," Kirra said.
She came towards us but looked horrible. Her wings were probably retracted to her back but she lost her glow. She had bags under her eyes and her hair was messy. She could hardly walk. Kirra was about to fall when Nitra caught her.
"What happened?" Titain asked.
"Everybody's getting weak," Kirra muttered, "and our powers gone."
"What'll happen if we don't get the stones back?" Morgan asked.
"We'll eventually disappear," Kirra said.
"How long?" Kaito asked.
"About a couple hours," Kayla said. "Maybe one day."
She was leaning on a tree and looked like her sister.
"We'll go get the stones right now," I said.
"Hurry Caroline's already in a coma," Kirra said.
Poor girl I thought.
"Just rest and everything will be fine," Jamez said.
"We will and Queen Elisabeth and the others are trying," Kayla said.
We went back through the portal and sat down in the living room. Everybody was quiet and trying to think of a plan. Caleb stood up and spoke.
"What's the plan?" Caleb asked.
His sky blue eyes made their way to me and everybody else's too. I stood up and Caleb sat down.
"Seth will take a group to the reconstruction room while the others figure out where the stones are," I said.
"We can do the first one," Seth said,"but the second one will be difficult."
"Do any of you have a plan?" I asked.
"I do," Anthony said.
"What is it?" Diamond asked.
"We do the first part," Anthony said,"but for the second part should be coming right now."
My confused black eye and sliver eye looked at him as everybody else gave him the same look. Then the doorbell rang. I answered ,and Aubrey was at the door.
"Sam wanted me to give you something," Aubrey said.
Are you going to give it to me I thought. She grabbed a bag and pushed it against my stomach. She flew away and I dumped it on the table. It had five things in it. I saw the old book and flinched at it. I then saw everything else and gave Seth a scared look. He looked back and nodded. I grabbed a letter and gasped as I read it in my head. I then read it out loud.
Dear Guardians,others, and my brother,
You will get your precious stones what you took from me. You want to know what that was well my brother, Titain, and Kaitlynn. Bring them back and you get your stones.

Everybody was silent and gloomy as I reached for the next letter. I read it but first Seth stood up and took my hand.
Hello losers,
You want to know what these five things are don't you. Well Seth and Kaitlynn knows all of this from their past. The first thing is Kaitlynn's bloody clothes from when she was thirteen years old. (Sorry if I got the age wrong) The second thing is a bloody knife from where Seth was scarred. The third thing was Kaitlynn's diary where she wrote all about her little adventures including me. The fourth was a brander where Seth was branded. The last thing is a videotape of every torture, scream, and technique I used on them. The past is coming back to the present Seth and Kaitlynn.

Tears dripped out of my eyes as every memory of those days came back to my mind. Then I felt pressure in my hand and looked at Seth. He raised his hand and wiped my eyes as he held back tears. Somebody clears their throat and we turned away from each other. We still held hands though.
"What does he mean?" Heidi asked.
"When I was kidnapped," I said,"I was taken to the tower."
"Just tell them the story," Nitra said.
Our eyes went to Nitra and nodded at the same time. We did so I started after Anthony left. I saw mom dead so I ran away. Seth spoke next with saying that Sam and him were in a carriage and they saw me. Then he told us that he thought was why a little girl was by herself. It was my turn and I told the next part. The same carriage stopped in front of me and two boys got out. One looked troubled and one looked a little weak. Seth told them that I was about to run when Sam grabbed my wrist. He said to the people who were staring that they were my brothers. Then Sam pulled me in the carriage with Seth trailing behind. I didn't know where we were going and I couldn't scream. Seth agreed as I took a breather. He put a knife to her neck and we were on our way to the tower. Everybody gave us sympathetic looks. Seth sat on the floor as I started again. Sam pulled Seth and I to the tower and chained us up. Then he tortured us both. I held in tears as Seth told the next part. We told each other our names when Sam left us alone. We were tortured every time we tried to escape. We finally escaped when we were thirteen I told them. That's when we got both of our magic. We escaped and went on a journey to find the rest of the guardians. We found all of them except for my brother until he sent a letter. My father attacked us and Titain killed him. Everybody's eyes landed on Titain and he looked straight down. Titain was on the verge of death and the guardians broke up after that Seth finished.
"That's how we met," I said.
"Wow I'm sorry," Anthony said.
"It's not your fault," I said.
I wiped the few tears that fell. Anthony stood up and hugged me.
"It is my fault because if I could control my powers then you didn't have to go through that," Anthony said.
He wiped the rest of my tears and we got back to work.
"How are we going to get the stones back?" Emma questioned.
"We are definitely not giving Titain... Seth... and Kaitlynn back," Morgan said.
"Definitely not," Anthony said.
"How then?" Hannah asked.
"Don't worry will think of a plan," I said.
Then we all started to think more of a plan.
