I decided to make my fanfic different from the show. It's not going to have the exact same plot and events. But don't worry, this fanfic will still be awesome ;) Lol Hope those who are actually reading (invisible walkers) are enjoying the story. Comment predictions and suggestions! Thanks for reading :)

3 years.

We've been walking for two days straight. We had enough food to last us about 4 more days but after that we won't have anything. We spared all our food, limiting ourselves to all sharing one can twice a day. My stomach howled, sounding like a dying whale. We decided to follow the train tracks, thinking that other member of our scrambled up group would do the same. Rick, still being injured, limped and stumbled along the tracks. He was slowing us down. We all decided to stop and rest in a house, we needed to relax. We quickly cleared out the first floor and started heading to the second, Michonne and I walked into what used to be a little girls room. We found a whole family of walkers, their hands intertwined. They died together. My eyes started tearing up. Michonne also looked heartbroken at the scene. She opened the closet and and slammed it shut just as she saw what was inside. She looked horror stricken.

"What was in there?" I questioned.

"A... A... A dog."

"I've seen a dead dog before, I don't believe you. What's really in there?"

"A dog, I told you!" She said, tensely.

I was about to push her aside when she blocked my way with her katana. I sighed and started rummaging through a wardrobe. Michonne still stood in front of the closet.

"A baby."

"What?"

"A baby was in the closet."

I looked at her. She had tears in her eyes. Poor soul, was just a baby. A innocent little baby. Probably killed by its parents, so it would be in a better world.

Carl walked into the room, he looked at Michonne and asked the same thing I did.

"What's in there?"

"A dog." Michonne's voice sounded unsure and wobbly.

"I don't think you're telling the truth." Michonne looked at me for some backup.

"It's a dog, I saw it."

"So, you're both lying to me."

"No, we're not." I said firmly.

"There's a baby in the closet, isn't there."

"N-No." Michonne stuttered.

"You don't want me to think about Judith, don't you." He paused. "You don't want me to think she's dead."

Michonne looked at her feet, looking defeated. Carl walked out of the room.

"Who's Judith?" I whispered.

"His baby sister."

I became silent. I thought about what probably happened to Judith. Sadly, she most likely didn't make it. I sighed and continued clearing out the house.

I lied down on the couch. Carl sat on the ground, flipping through a comic Michonne found. Rick was taking a nap. I heard someone descending the stairs and looked up to see Michonne, wearing a hideous outfit. Carl and I broke into laughter.

"What're you two laughing at?" She put on a fake glare.

"Your sense of style." I chuckled.

"I personally believe that this is a lovely outfit! The shirt, especially."

I laughed again and Carl smirked. I also changed my clothes. I found a pair of black pants and a black tank top, topped with a lilac hoodie. I wore my old black converse shoes on my feet. It was a plain outfit, perfect when heading North... during the apocalypse.

Without even realizing it, I shut my eyes and fell off a cliff of living nightmares, into a deep sleep, filled with even more nightmares.

I was in my school hallway. Filled with kids of all different ages. I was walking with Lilly. Everything was normal.

"What do we have next?" I asked Lilly.

"Gym." She groaned.

I've always hated gym, was never really athletic. We walked into the dressing room and I tried to dress into my clothes quickly, avoiding any insult from the other girls about my skinny figure.

"I bet she doesn't even eat!"

"Oh please, she eats like a pig! She just barfs it all out! Ain't that right, stick." The other girls snickered.

In what kind of a world do people bully you for being thin? Some people would just die to be as skinny as me, literally. To me, my weight is just a curse.

"They're just jealous." Lilly reminded me.

I already knew that, I've overheard them awing at how slender I am. They're the ones who don't eat and vomit everything out, just to impress some silly boys.

I walked into the gym and started running my usual laps. I was in the middle of my second lap when someone pushes me to the ground. Alex, boyfriend of the girl who was bullying me earlier. He kicked me hard in the ribs and shouted for me to get up. Tears ran down my cheeks as I whimpered. Suddenly, a cold hand grabbed my ankle. I looked down to see a horde of walkers crawling towards, biting big chunks out of me. The rest of the class snickered, even Lilly. I tried to scream but didn't make a sound. I was helpless, one of my greatest fears is being helpless. I was helpless.

I woke up gasping for air. I rolled onto my back, failing and falling onto the ground... And on top of Carl. I felt my cheeks burn, I was blushing hard.

"Shit! What the hell?" He yelped.

"Oh gosh, sorry!" I jumped off of him.

"You were whimpering all night, preventing me from sleeping, and just as I fall asleep, you fall on top of me!" He whispered sleepily, but harshly.

"I had a nightmare, give me a break."

"We live in a nightmare." He looked at me and sighed. "Go back to sleep."

I rolled around on the floor, trying to find a comfortable position. I couldn't fall asleep. I felt something warm beside me. I looked to see Carl lying on his back.

"Now I can't sleep." He gave me an accusing look.

"Don't blame me, I can't sleep either."

Just then, I felt a rush in my body. I've never been so close to a... male species. I felt myself blush and tried to stop, but couldn't. You can't possibly have a crush in Carl! I scolded myself. He's such an asshole! But he could be nice, and he's kinda cute. Another side of me reasoned. And we got each others back.

I was so lost in thought that I barely noticed what Carl was saying.

"You have a nice smile, shouldn't be so grumpy all the times and actually, well, smile."

"Um... What?" I was blushing really hard now.

"You have a nice smile." I felt butterfly's in my stomach.

"You have nice eyes." I didn't think about my reply to him.

You idiot! Why would you possibly like him! I started yelling at myself. Well, he did say you have a nice smile. Just as I thought it, I smiled.

He looked at me with his shiny blue eyes and smiled too.

"That's the smile I'm talking about."
