3 years.

It felt as if we were walking forever, but we made it. To our 'sanctuary.'

"Terminus." I said to myself.

So this is terminus, a huge building surrounded with fencing. Eight, red, bold letters were written on the front. Terminus.

"We split up." Rick commanded. "Daryl, Michonne, Sadie and Carl, you're coming with me."

"We'll go through the back," Glenn stated.

"And we go in through the front."

Everyone nodded there heads in agreement.

"The groups aren't equal." Carl pointed out.

"No time t' argue, kid." Daryl grumbled.

We watched as the others creeped through the other way. I don't trust this place, I thought as we walked through the main entrance. Men greeted us by raising there weapons. I don't trust this, I kept thinking as one of the men, Garett, introduced themselves. This isn't safe I thought as they showed us the way to a women named Mary. This isn't a sanctuary I thought as I saw Maggie's poncho and Glenn's armor besides her.

"Rick," I tugged on his sleeve, "Rick!"

"What?" He frowned at me.

I pointed at our groups property. Rick ran up to one of the men and put a gun against his head.

"Where did you get this?" he glanced at the armor and poncho.

Garett and Rick commenced a battle of words and threats.

I reached for Carl's hand, looking up. Snipers were on the roofs, pointing guns at us. We were surrounded. Life became a sudden blur. I felt Carl tugging at my shirt, yelling at me. We started running, endless bullets following close behind.

We ran through twisting hallways, reaching a grand, candlelit room. I looked around, turning in a circle. Blood red writing was scrawled on the floor. Names, names of the dead.

"These people are sick..." Michonne muttered.

"We gotta keep moving." I gulped.

"Stay calm, we'll make it outta here." Carl kissed my cheek.

We kept running through the endless maze of hallways until we reached a clearing.

"Stop!" Carl shouted. "There are snipers everywhere, they'll shoot us all down!"

I felt tears swell into my eyes, now was not the time for a panic attack.

"Well, isn't this great? It didn't have to be this way," I could almost hear the smirk in Garrets voice, "see that train cart over there? I want you step inside, and don't hesitate, or the boy and girl will both be dead. First, the ring leader."

I sniffled as Carl pulled me to him by my waist. We each nodded at Rick as he looked back at us, reassuringly. He gave one last glare at Garett and stepped into the cart.

"Now, the archer."

Daryl frowned and looked back at us. His eyes clouded with hatred, but they still gave us hope. I held onto Carl even tighter.

"Then the samurai."

Michonne smirked at the nickname. She smiled at me, keeping me calm. She followed Rick and Daryl route to the train cart. Standing side by side awaiting there fate.

"Now, I want you all to-"

"My kids!" Rick yelled, "what about my kids?"

"Fine, they can go with you. Speed up the pace."

I glanced at Carl. His crystal blue eyes had fear in them. ' Three,' he mouthed as approached the cart. 'Two," He said mid way. 'One,' he tightened his grip on my hand, winked, and ran.

"Run!" He yelled.

"Carl, you freaking idiot! were damn screwed!"

"Just keep running," he frowned, "and don't look back"

I immediately felt the need to looks back.
