Chapter 6

-Marinette's POV-

I woke up with a pounding headache, sighing when i remembered that Cat Noir knows who i am. I HAVE to know who he is.

I got to school five minutes before class started, and Adrien sat next to me since Alya wasn't attending school today.

"Adrieennn?! Hahaha...W-What are you doing here?" I stuttered, waving my hands around.
"Well, since the project partnering is today and Alya isn't here i thought I'd work with you. I'm sure Alya can find someone tomorrow." He explained, scratching the back of his neck.

"There you are Adrikins, I've been...Wait, what are you doing sitting next to her?" Chloe asked in disgust, her hands on her hips in question.

"I like Marinette, so I am doing the project with her. Problem?" He scoffed, completely airing Chloe.

""Well YES there IS a probl-"

"Chloe! Sit down for gods sake!" The teacher yelled, making Chloe storm into her seat.

Something was different about Adrien today, but I couldn't quite tell what.
He looked like he was hiding something, or as if he was trying to say something but didn't know how.
"You ok?" I asked awkwardly, scribbling things on paper.

He nodded and got a massive piece of paper, and everyone started working on their art projects.

We started off with a brain storm, and lots of felt pens to doodle ideas with .

Adrien and I got along really well doing the project.
Chloe gave dirty looks all lesson, but it didn't bother me.

"Evil-ise her!"

Minutes later, a strange looking person walked through the door.
They were wearing a completely black suit with cat ears.

They looked exactly like a female version of Cat Noir.

"I'm here to DESTROY Ladybug. I'll take her Miraculous! And I know she's in this room. Come on buggy..." She cooed. Discreetly, i closed the blinds so the room was darker.

'Accidentally' Elbowing the light switch beside me, I got up and ran across the room without being seen.
I heard chaos behind me, and I hid behind a pillar to transform into Ladybug.

The weird cat noir copy was still in the classroom when i got back, but then i don't know how but i was teleported to the outside courtyard. Why here?! It's pouring down with rain, and somehow dark!! Cat Noir was there too.

Flirting with that female weirdo?!

I looked at Cat Noir and his eyes had gone a weird purple color.
He wasn't "flirting" with her by will. She must have some sort of hypnotic power...
I used my yoyo to quickly tie her to a pillar, that should buy some time.

"Cat Noir, snap out of it! Are you insane?!"

He kept staring at 'Chic Noir' with a lovestruck look. I grabbed his shoulders and repeatedly shook him, trying to get him to his senses.
"I'M OUT BUGGY!!! GIVE ME YOUR MIRACULOUS!"

"Can't you see she's using you just to get to your Miraculous??" I cried, trying to keep the girl away.

"I'd never do such a thing!" She protested, hugging Cat Noir.

His eyes were a dark shade of purple now.

Before I knew it, 'Chic Noir' kicked me across the courtyard.

I saw Cat Noir's neck flick towards where i'd landed in an instant. Then back at Chic, then back at me.

"Cmon you freaky cat lady, gimme a break!" I screeched unhappily.
I could barely move. Cat Noir noticed this, and ran to my side as quickly as he could.

His eyes were not purple at all anymore. They were that sparkly emerald green i'm so used to.
"I'm so sorry...Y-You're hurt! Oh god this is my fault..." He was panicking like crazy, and then he glared at the Copy cat 'Chic Noir.'

I managed to get my lucky charm. A crow bar?

Oh i see. If i can get Cat Noir to use it to pry that wooden thing open then...

-After the fight-

"You don't have much time left before you transform, everyone will see you. Listen...I feel something really strong to you bugaboo. Like I can 100% protect you."

"Cat Noir...I love you. I really, really do. But just not that way. You are my best friend, my partner in crime but i like a boy who goes to my school. A charming boy, who's kind, currently doing an art project with me...But i'm not telling you who kitty. If you want to know you can try and find out yourself."
