-Adrien's POV-

I never thought being this lonely would affect me so badly. Even being surrounded by love and support, I still felt this huge empty hole left by Marinette's death.

So here I was, wandering about at 1:00am, trying to figure out how to finally move on. It's been about 3 weeks now, I really cant tell. I'm living in my house which has no upkeep, and i'm bound to be shipped off to a care home soon.

A single tear fell from my right eye as I thought more and more about Mari.
We shared really spectacular times together. The kiss in Hawaii. I really liked that.

Now she's gone. Even though I could easily have saved her.
"Don't cry Adrien."

I spun around, almost falling over.
"What. The. F*ck."

...

-Nino's POV-

I missed my friend. Marinette had a good heart. Has.
A part of me thought she was just missing and not dead, god forbid she's dead!
It turned out Adrien hadn't been doing too well either. News of his attempted suicide spread around the whole school and he hadn't been in for a week. I was slowly losing him too.

-Adrien's POV-

"Y-You faked your death, and left me completely heartbroken?! No contact. NOTHING! And you expect me to just welcome you back with open arms? Do you have any idea what hell you've put me through? I've been breaking, piece by piece every single day. I'm fifteen and i've been drinking alcohol to get over you and guess what?! IT DIDN'T WORK. That didn't make me get over you, but your recent, selfish actions will! Leave me alone. Don't EVER speak to me again!"

After that I stormed off. I didn't think i could ever be hurt as much as I just was. A girl I had come to love with every bit of me had betrayed me in the most despicable of ways. I looked back once, her black hair was loose and flowing in the wind. At this moment, I was reminded of everything I loved about her.
But I was also too shocked, too angry to forgive her.

So, I kept walking.

I was finally learning to let go.

-The next week, monday-

It was obvious everybody knew what had happened. I got sympathetic looks, odd looks, worried looks, blank looks, all different kinds of 'looks.'
I pulled the hood of my hoodie over my head and a few locks of hair stuck out at the front. I wore plain black jeans and sneakers, which would have been unusual for me.

I groaned as I saw myself in the mirror outside class. Bagged eyes, grey circles, a slightly skinnier frame.
When I walked in, the classroom became silent. Everybody stared at me, but no one said a word.

"It's uh..uhm..G-Good to have you back Adrien." The teacher stuttered, tucking a wisp of hair behind her ear.

"Pssstt, he tried to kill himself!"

"What? Really?"

"You don't know? Alya came to his rescue, apparently. That would have been two dead students."

"SHE ISN'T DEAD!!" I screamed, feeling myself about to go out of my mind.

Gathering what little strength I had left, I picked up a chair and threw it across the classroom in a moment of pure rage.
I fell onto the floor and I didn't know what was happening, but I felt my body spiralling out of control.

I started violently shaking and before I knew it my vision went black.

- - - 1 hour later - - -
"AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!"
Waking up was a shock. I was surrounded by bright lights and the smell of chemicals. A hospital.
"Woah, hey, calm down! You're okay." A girl's voice soothed.
I remembered absolutely nothing. Especially why i was here. What happened?
I looked to my left and sure enough there was a girl there.
"I know, I must be funny to look at. They're keeping you in here for a few days, better get used to me. I've just been cleared for cancer. I survived it. Heck, my chemo worked! I may of lost my hair, but living a good long life is worth far more than that. I guess you wanna know what happened, huh?"

I nodded weakly, barely being able to sit up.
"Well, you were rushed in about a half hour ago. They did emergency anaesthetic, sort of like a tranquilliser...That took about five minutes, then you were conked out for the remaining 25 which brings us here. My names April, by the way."

"Adrien."

"I know. They were talking about you when you were brought in, the doctors."

"What happened to me?" I asked, baffled.

"Well, from what I could see and hear you were having an extremely violent seizure. You threw up- alot. Your body...It was like it was attacking you. Working against you. It only stopped when they administered the tranquilliser.
Adrien...You almost died. Any longer without that anaesthetic and...We probably wouldn't be talking right now." After the explanation, I think I was even more confused.
A seizure?? Where the hell did that come from???

"Try and get some rest. Do you think there was anything that could have triggered it? Rage, upset..?"

I nodded. "A girl broke my heart. You may find this unbelievable but she faked her death and left me mourning for weeks. I tried to take my life, I couldn't handle the sorrow of losing my father and the girl i loved. I thought she was missing but then she suddenly showed up and told me she had faked her death. After that I yelled and left. Then at school i threw a chair across the classroom...I can't remember much after that, it's all a bit hazy."

April nodded.

"You'll be out in a few days, dont worry."
