Not only me (Cat Noir x Ladybug)

Chapter 21~ He's back?

-Cat Noir's POV-

"I remember everything too, Mari.." I mumbled, holding her close to me.
"Too bad I can't act like this alter ego of mine as my normal-Adrien-self. I'd totally love to flirt with you in class bugaboo."

She pulled away from the hug and face palmed.
"Now you go home, silly kitty. It's quarter past ten and I need to sleep!"

"See you soon." He smiled softly, going back towards his new home.

How did i end up falling for Cat Noir? Before I found out he was Adrien, even?
I developed strong feelings for him, and now I know he's Adrien, would that change things?
As I slowly made my way back into my room, I enjoyed the cool breeze blowing through my hair.

Once I couldn't see Cat Noir anymore, i transformed into my normal self and climbed into bed.
Tikki laid on my pillow next to me, and I wasn't sure if she was wide awake still but I was.
It was funny to think that at first I wasn't cut out for the job of Ladybug.
But now that i've encountered scary villains, fallen for my flirty partner and heck, saved the whole of Paris even, I realised I was more than cut out for the job. I was made for this!

I noticed milk and cookies on my desk with a little note.
Approaching my desk with a smile on my face, I looked at the note.
'Marinette, you didn't eat much dinner so papa and i made your favourite dessert. See you in the morning sweetie.'

I smiled at the note again and put it into a scrapbook as I wolfed down the cookies.
I hoped to see Cat Noir or Adrien again tomorrow.
"Cookies!" Tikki exclaimed, eating up the last one.
"They're good, aren't they?" I mumbled, soaking in the bliss that is chocolate chip cookies.

-The next morning. ??? POV-

I ran through the streets, winding in and out of crowds of people trying to get to a train.
I needed to get that train, my mother was gravely ill and I had to see her incase the worst happened.
When I finally reached the train station I patiently waited. It was the last train for at least two hours, and who knew how long my mother could have left.

When it finally arrived, a sudden flock of people came onto the platform. I desperately tried to hurry through the doors, but I was roughly pushed out of the way by a snobby woman.
By the time I'd gotten up, the doors had close and the train began to drive off.
"No!" I sobbed, slumping on a bench in defeat.

How could people be so selfish?!

-somewhere else-

"Anger, sadness...Just what I need...The perfect prey for my evil akuma."

"Fly away my little akuma, and evilise her!"

((Sidenote- oh no, hawkmoth?! Is he out of prison?))

"Hello, Stopper. I am Hawkmoth. I am giving you the ability to stop the trains and seek out revenge on everybody on that train who was there when you deserved to be. However, i require something In return...bring me Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous!"

"Yes Hawkmoth."

-Marinette's POV-

As soon as I woke up, there was a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach.
'A new villain on the streets of Paris confirms that Hawkmoth, the notorious villain, has indeed escaped from prison. We know our superheroes Cat Noir and Ladybug will save the day again!'

Tikki was flying in circles worriedly.

"Marinette! You're awake! You must transform, we can't let Hawkmoth get away. You absolutely have to defeat the akumatised person, then it is vital you find Hawkmoth and return him to the police."

I nodded, drinking a glass of water from my bedside.
"Tikki, spots on!"

"It's been a while since we did this whole crime fighting thing, M'lady." Cat Noir said, suddenly appearing on my balcony.

"Let's do it!" I exclaimed, attaching my yoyo to a building i could see in the distance and grabbing her hands.
"Together, us little kitty. It's not only you."

He smirked and held onto my hand tightly as we sprang towards the location of this new villain.

-3 minutes later-

"Look Cat Noir. See that ticket in her lanyard? The akuma must be in there! Lucky charm!"

....

"A laser? What am I supposed to do with this?"

I stood perplexed for a moment, then i saw a circular mirror in the corner of the train station.
I pointed the laser at the mirror and it reflected back onto Stopper's lanyard, breaking out the akuma and transferring her back to normal. 
"No more evil doing for you, little akuma...Time to de-evilise!"

The formerly akumatise girl ran out of the station, completely frightened and the trains began running again.

"Now for Hawkmoth..." I mumbled to Cat, "Are you ready?"

He just stood in the corner, looking spaced out.
"It's just...He was my father. The only person I had. I don't want to fight him...But it looks as if i'll have to for the good of everyone."

"We can do it, Cat." I reassured, holding his hand gently. "Come on."
