Not only me (Cat Noir x Ladybug)

Chapter 10

-Marinette's POV-

I'm still trying to work out how Cat Noir could possibly be here. He isn't anybody i know personally so it will be difficult to figure out...More importantly, I know he knows my identity, so why did he follow me here? And is Hawkmoth here, or can his akumas actually travel that far???

Cat Noir must be someone I know.

After all that went on, I turned around to see Adrien was standing behind me. "You seem like you're really thinking about something buga-Marinette. What's up?" He asked, sipping cola from a glass bottle.

"Did you just call me...? Ah forget it." I grumbled, rubbing my temples with my hands.

I swivelled around in my chair and Adrien shrieked in pain. Did i accidentally hit him?
"Oh my gosh Adrien i am so sorry! I can't believe i did that why on earth is it bleeding?"

On his side by his stomach, his shirt was slowly going from white- to red.
How is that possible?! He was hurt exactly where Cat Noir was hurt. Coincidences are getting so weird these days.

-2 weeks later-

"I can't believe we only have two weeks left! It's been awesome, don't you think Adrien?"
He nodded and smiled, "But at least i'll be able to go to your bakery when we get back home. You should really branch out."

"Oh, we can't afford that. We would if we could."

I turned around to look at Alya, and when i turned back to Adrien, he was SHIRTLESS. I was in a ladybug print bikini, and he was smirking at me.
O EM GEE.

My mind kept flashing back to the state Cat Noir was in 2 weeks ago. I haven't seen him since, and I feel really awful.

"Something on your mind Mari?" He asked, walking beside me as I strolled along the sand, right by the sea.
"Yeah, I feel really bad...A couple of weeks ago, my friend got really hurt. Right where you have that injury by your stomach actually. It was exactly the same. Weird huh?"

He nodded hesitantly then ran his hand through his hair. "Well i'm sure he's okay, want to sit on the rocks for a bit then go back to everyone else?"

I nodded gratefully and then skipped over to a rock, hearing Adrien chuckle from behind me. He sat down next to me and sighed.

"Only two weeks left in this gorgeous country. Then back to Paris. And the rest of the holiday until school starts again." Adrien mumbled, looking over the edge of the rocks and the deep crystal clear blue sea below.

We stayed silent for five minutes and then I looked at my watch on my left arm and noticed my hand was clasped in Adrien's. HOOOLLLYYYYY OH MY GOD.

"Hey, Marinette...Have you ever cliff jumped before? Or tried pier jumping?"

-Adrien's POV-

"Hey, Marinette...Have you ever cliff jumped before? Or tried pier jumping?" I asked curiously, looking at the perfect calm water below.

She shook her head. "Tell me you're not thinking of jumping off these rocks!! Look how WILD the sea is!!!"

I stared at her, absolutely dumbfounded. There wasn't a single wave in the ocean today.
I grabbed both of her hands, "Cmon, Mari!! You only live once, you might aswell. And it's safe, I promise. You'll be okay with me here. We have no secrets, I'd tell you if there were huge risks."

She sighed hastily, then closed her eyes.
"3,2,1..."

Before I knew it, we'd jumped off and hit the cool water below. She came up after I did, and was beaming. "OH my GOD THAT WAS AWESOME! But we should probably go back to our friends." She giggled, swimming along to the shore.
She was so cool...And happy.

I want to tell her.
I have to.
I will.

At the end of this holiday, when we're back in Paris, I'm finally going to tell her that i'm Cat Noir.

"Seems like you're getting on really well with Marinette!" Nino grinned, nudging my shoulder.
"Oh my god no! Stop! We're just friends." I protested, trying to hide back a blush.

"So not just friends ha! Come on, everyone's going swimming. Oh and..." He leaned closer to my ear, "Nice job with the cliff jumping thing. Good move, bro!"
