"We have arrived." Puff said
"The Cave of Eternal Darkness." Panda said
"The infamous labyrinth." Snow added
"The monster should be easier to defeat. We have armor now." Cat said
"And it's made from the first monster's body parts." Dog said
"We should make torches." Panda said "Grab some wood, pelt, and beeswax."
The group arrived at the entrance of the cave. They must go there, but Parrot said otherwise.
"Is there any other way?"
"Why? You afraid of the dark?" Cat taunted
"Absolutely not! I just don't like caves."
"Okay, gather more wood, pelt , and beeswax. We'll make a torch for each one." Panda said
"I don't need a torch." Dog tapped her wand and it glowed in bright yellow. "Save the torches for yourselves later.
"No, no. I just don;t want to go inside."
"You know you can't stay here alone. The exit's on the other end."
Parrot can't make an excuse.
"Just don't think about it too much." Puff finally spoke
"Think? Our safety and survival falls on our hands. We don't know what's happening with our families, nor they even have information about us." Parrot said
"You don't even know what to do. Here we are saying things of what you should do, but sometimes you deny it because you know you can do better."
"Yes! I can do better than you."
"Then show us your plan."
Parrot remained silent. Cat was angry, but she knows Puff was right.
"Parrot." Cat called
"What?"
"Calm down. Our time is being wasted, standing here about an argument. You must face the cave."
"Okay. I'm sorry."
The six prepared themselves and ventured into the cave. It was dark and silent, if they don't have any torches. The only things they could see is themselves while in the range of the torch. The only things they could hear are the crackling sound the fire is creating, their lonely and cautious footsteps, and waterdrops from the roof of the cave. Dog was in the front using her wand because the light it emitted was more powerful than the torches. Puff lighted the rear to check in case someone was left behind.
"He is here." Puff calmly stated
The others looked at Puff. They knew that the second monster is here. It's nearby.
"What kind of monster is this?" Parrot asked
"A monster known as a shadow. He has no eyes, but it can see us. He is everywhere, and he is nowhere here. It ventures into the cave using it's tail and head, and his acid like saliva, too. He has the power of the strongest lightning in the most violent storms, and can manipulate it very well to destroy his enemies. It's best that we'd be careful." Puff said
"This cave feels endless." Snow said
"Or it's just very big." Cat added
After sometime, there was an earthquake.
"AGAIN?!" Snow shouted
"HOLD ON TO SOMETHING! STAY CLOSE!" Panda shouted
The six tried to stay put. The shaking stopped.
