Together Again

Where am I?

He sat up his bed.

He looked around.

He was inside a house.

It wasn't the same thing he saw back there.

He tried to move, but he felt an obstruction.

He felt a soft, warm body beside him.

It was sleeping.

She was sleeping.

From the looks of it, she stayed all night long waiting for him to wake up.

He poked her cheek.

That was enough for her to open her eyes and see him alive and breathing.

She sat up.

"Welcome back."

She smiled.

"Good to be back, Cams."

They hugged each other.

"Come. They are waiting for you outside."

Puff went to the side of the bed, and tried to stand up.

He fell down, still not fully recovered from the wounds he got.

Cams was there to catch him.

"Thanks."

She assisted him as they walk towards the door.

As he opened him, he saw the sun shining in his eyes.

It was good to be back.

He saw five families, happy again.

Seeing that they become together again with their children.

And Mickey was there to greet the two.

"So, is it a good sight for someone coming from hell?"

"Heh, you don't know anything about hell."

The two end up in a cheerful laugh.

"He's here!" Dog shouted

The whole village cheered for the return of a hero.

The five animals went up beside the other three.

"So, how's it going? How do you feel?" Panda started

"I'm still alive..."

Puff felt a hit from the back of his shoulder.

"OW! Is that how you greet a hero?"

"Don't ever do that again." Cat said

They all laugh.

"You know, I still have one final thing to do."

Puff forced himself to stand without assistance.

"Puff...are you going to be okay?" Cams tried to ask.

He walked towards the silent crowd.

The crowd was split into two groups, trying to give way to the wounded.

In the crowd, he saw his former allies.

"Odette the owl, Avi the lizard, and Pat the tiger. It's a good thing you paid me a little visit."

"Why? Are you not happy to see us?" Pat asked

"We've always been here with you Puff." Odette said
