"Here's the next crossroad." Panda reported
"Another inscription, with another pedestal looking rock again." Snow said
"These are the times you need to be sure. Being calm is your loyal cure." Parrot read
Everyone looked at Parrot
"Uhh...why are you looking at me like that?"
"You choose your path." Panda smiled
"Why me? I didn't understand a thing about this!"
"I'll go for the first one." Snow said
"Let's try the second." Panda asked Dog
"Okay. The usual dead end test. You do know that if we are not correct in choosing, we're literally dead?" Parrot sarcastically said
"Do you have any plans?" Panda asked
"I don't know. I have to be sure. Is there some way we can summon the monster or something."
And the monster did fell off from the sky.
"I should have not mentioned that."
The pale, white, flabby monster reincarnated from the dead.
"Don't ever talk about 'dead' ends ever again." Said Snow
"Sure thing."
The five prepared to engage in a lengthy battle, but as the monster took a little step forward...
"Earthquake? Here?"
The monter struggled with all its might, as it sank to the deep and dark unearth below their feet.
It vanished without a trace.
"Now I fear of something more." Parrot said
"Don't let fear weaken you now." Dog said
"Of course Dog should be the bravest of them all, right?" Snow's side comment.
"Parrot, choose wisely." Cat said
"Hmm...Does this dungeon or labyrinth take this logic: the closer we get to the goal, the more monsters and obstacles that come in our way?"
"Possibly."
Parrot noticed the ceilings.
One has a trail of stalactites, spread evenly across the ceiling.
While the other has a trail of stalagmites in the side of the ground.
"I choose this one."
"Suuure. Another earthquake and hell will fall unto us...literally!"
"You told me to choose!"
"Let's just go."
Dog noticed another glowing thing on the pedestal. The others doesn't seem to notice at all.
"I'll just collect these. Maybe it'll come handy later."
She grabbed another necklace. It has a pendant shaped like a sword.
"The next crossroad. Panda, you're up." Cat said
"What was my problem back then? Oh yeah. Nevermind."
"The purple poisonous monster." Parrot said
"Oh yeah...the flashy one." Snow's memory got refreshed.
