When Eli saw Ella stomp into the barn, he slightly cursed under his breath and followed her back inside.

"Ella... I'm sorry"

He told her softly and placed his hand slowly on her shoulder.

She brushed off his shoulder and went over and sat on the fence that separated the two horse stall, she didn't even glance over at him, she simply looked forward.

A few minutes later, she did move, not to look at him, but she simply looked to her left at Eli's horse, Mingo, and smiled as she sleeped soundlessly in her stall.

When she heard him moving she stayed there and kept her eyes fixed on Mingo, when she felt his hand around hers, she curled her fingers around his.

He said nothing.

She didn't either.

They were there for a while before she felt him tug on her hand and pulled her down.

When she fell she almost screamed, but he caught her in his arms instead, after a few seconds he lightly sat her back down on the ground, but kept her hand in his.

"I need to tell you something."

They both said at the same time, paused then laughed and Ella said

"Okay, you first Eli."

She stepped infront of him and looked up at him, smiling.

"Okay. Well, I've been needing to tell you this for a while."

He paused for a while

"Well?"

She asked him, stepping forward a little bit to bring him out of what seemed to distract him

"Huh? Oh. Sorry, just thinking you know."

He said looking back down at her giving her a sweet smile.

"You needed to say something?"

She asked, going back on topic

She could feel her heart start racing when she was done talking

"Yes, but... I'd rather show you then tell you."

He told her, her saw her expression change and he slightly chuckled.

"Don't worry. It's nothing bad."

He explained to her

She started to think as he kept talking for a while, rambling really

'So he does like me as well!'

'Oh how obvious it is now!'

She was watching him with interest as he talked, watching his body posture as he talked and changed the subjects numerous times.

When he was done she stopped thinking and listened fully to him

He turned back her way and walked over to her quickly.

She took a slight step back, for just being cautious about what he might do.
