The Nightmare

"What's the four-one-one boys?" Ella asked as she walked into the stables

Eli and Future both looked behind them to see her walk inside, and they both smiled

"Well good morning to you too, Miss Little Ray Of Sunshine." Eli and Future said to her then they both laughed

'Ella. Somethings wrong.' Future stopped laughing too soon.

Eli heard it, but he just stood there awkwardly knowing he couldn't hear what Future was saying.

'Yes. Star is either upset or sick.' She looked down at her feet and the smile quickly turned into fear. 'He's my best horse that i've owned so far... I don't want to lose him...' Ella let a tear fall.

Eli had already disappeared, so she just stood there for a few seconds before wiping off her face.

'Ella, go spend the day with him, if there is something more important, I will come and get you, but if it's not that important, i'm sure Eli will be able to help up.' Future said and nudged her lightly, hoping it would chear her up somewhat.

Ella just nodded and rubbed Future's muzzle "Thank you." She told him quietly.

'We hate to see you upset, if somethin bothers you, just tell us Ella. We know you're not weak. It takes a ture heart to let it's friend see her cry.' Future added 'Now go. I'll tell Eli for you' He said nudging her until she was outside of the barn.

She was almost around the stable entrance when she heard Future neigh in anger and Eli shout, she stopped but then she heard Future yell 'ELLA! I SAID GO!' at her in particualr.

So she ran as far as she could, she decided to take the ferry to Fort Pinta, a town she never really goes to anymore, then she would take the car to her stable.

An hour or so when Ella had reached home, she walked into to barn.

She heard rustling inside of Star's stall, she went over and opened his gate and stepped inside, not turning around until the gate was closed.

She saw she was still in the same corner as she was this morning.

Ella said nothing to her, she just went over to her, lifted her head, sat down and streatched her legs out in front of her then laid Star's head on her lap.

They sat there in silence for almost the rest of the day, Ella stroking her mane from her forehead then down to where it stopped.

They both must have fallen asleep like this.

Many hours later, Ella felt somebody's hand on her shoulder and she awoke with a start.

She lashed out and punched Eli in the chest.

Her hands flew to her mouth almost imideatley afterwords.

"Eli! I'm so sorry!" She gasped behind her hands

Eli just looked at her a littel confused, like he didn't recognize his own name.

"Eli?" She asked him again

Still.

He stood there confused.

Then his hands moved to her shoulders.

Once more, she awoke with a start, not by somebody touching her, but from her dream.

She looked up to see Star, Eli and Future all looking at her.

Sweat was running down her face and her clothes clung to her body from it.

And on top of that, she was shaking something worse then they had ever seen.

"We need to go to Elizabeth." Future said out loud

Star turned to Him "Who's taking who?" She asked

Future replied "I'll take Eli, you take Ella. I will lead the way. We are going to the meeting place."

A few minutes later, Eli and Future were ahead of Star and Ella.

Ella was holding onto Star's mane trying not to fall off as much as she could, since she was still shaking and sweating.

All she could think about was the dream she had.

Once they reached the Secret Stonering they didn't bother going slow, Future and Star both seemed to know what they were doing and they were there within seconds.

Again, Ella was pushing herself up against the stone wall railing.

Panting and sweating even worse.

Eli was screaming something at Elizabeth and Fripp, while Future was talking to one of the Druid men and Star was talking to the other.

Linda and Alex were helping Ella stand up, they offered her something to drink, she looked at it disgusted "It will help. We promise Ella." They both said and offered it to her again.

Ella drank the liquid, even though it tasted revolting, she had to.

She didn't know how much time passed, but she could only recall sitting on the floor sobbing into Eli's chest as she tried to talk.

Elizabeth and Future told her to stay with Eli and Future for the remander night, until she was able to go home.

Ella swallowed and clutched the back of Eli's shirt.

Eli replied for her instead "Thank you, we appriciate your help." then added for him, Future and Star "We will do our best to help her."

Eli picked up Ella in his arms and sat her on Future's back.

"Star, go ahead and head on home." Elizabeth told her, Star nodded to her and was gone within seconds.

"Eli?" Fripp said

"Yes, Fripp?" He asked when he was behind Ella on Future's back.

"Take care. And if you ever need us, we will be here." Fripp told him

"Thank you, Sir. For everything." Eli replied

Grabbing her waist and whispering something to her, Ella nodded slightly.

'Let's go Future. I want to get away from here!' She screamed at him, her muscles became tense after that.

She can only remember passing out as they came from The Secret Stonering.
