The Explination

She sat there for a while pondering if he could or not...

When he finally reached the edge if the cliff, he looked at her.

He turns his head this way and that way trying to get a better glimpse of her.

"I can definitely hear what your thinking Ella." He explained to her.

She suddenly stood up on the tree branch, and forgetting that it couldn't hold her weight right;

She fell.

All the way down the tree.

But before she could fall more than a foot or two, He caught her!

"Wait..." She said looking back up at the black stallion, she saw that she hadn't fallen very far.

"T-thank you, sir! I appreciate it." She told him

"Your welcome, Ella. And yes, I am a horse that is able to speak if you we're wondering." He told her.

"Now before I explain, is there anything you want or need to know about ME?" He questioned her politely.

"Y-y-yes there are a few things I've been wondering about!" She told him quickly tripping over her own words she added "What's y-your name? A-and w-why are you-you here? Are you some m-mythical horse or just a o-one-once in a lifetime horse that can commu-communicate with people?"

"My name is The Holder Of The Future, odd name, yes I understand, but you may call me Future if you like."

He paused to look behind him and shifted his weight, then turning back to the girl he continued,

"I am not mythical my dear, I am no once in a lifetime horse either. I am simply a horse who choses to speak to people, every horse here can do it I am sure of it, but not all chose to do it because then people go and test on those horses, so they keep to themselves most of the time." He explained as calmly as he could to her.

Ella nodded slowly and watched the ground as he explained to her.

Once he was finished she looked up at him and stated

"So you are trying to tell me.... That my horse,Star , can talk?"

She thought for a second or two then added

"He just refuses to do so because my own horse is SCARED of me? He's my horse, I would never do any kinds of tests on him even if it depended on my life!"

She blurted out, enraged that her own horse might be scared of HER, she had always thought she was fair to him.

Maybe she was wrong.

He broke her trail of thoughts as he explained more,

"Now Miss Ella... Please do not get upset by this. We may not know for sure, as only time may tell.... But yes, Star officially can talk. I have seen him about this before, and he hints that he does not like me."

As He was done speaking, Ella's thoughts started tumbling into her mind again.

'Why can't he trust his own owner?'

'How could he not share this with me!'

'I trust him with my life!'

'Why can't he trust me with his life!?'

She had enough of what he was saying.

So she politely said

"Thank You, I will talk to you later."

Then carefully stepped to the edge of the cliff, jumped to it then started her walk home.

'Sooner then you may think Ella....'

He though quietly to himself.

He stood there and watched her as she walked away, once she was out of eyesight he reared and was off into the moonlight.
