Chapter 2

Emerald P.O.V

I and that Barbie made our way to the entrance of the Kingdom where Derek, our gate keeper stood tall and proud. He is a bulky guy, loaded with muscles in the right places. He is surely an eye candy. That's why Sarah is looking at him like he is some piece of meat. At least show some dignity girl. 

"Hey Derek" I greeted him when I was near him. He bowed down to me and greeted me back. "Hi Derek, how are you today?" Sarah purred coming closer to him. He looked uncomfortable by the attention. By his looks everybody will think that he is player but he is totally opposite of that. He takes his job seriously and stay away from the girls who flirt with him. He only believes in love and he is still searching for the right one. He looks at me pleadingly, I stifled a laugh at this. "Barbie, stop embarrassing yourself than you already are" I said cutting her so called seduction technique. And I thought she only liked my brother. 

Such a bitch. 

She glares at me. "Will you stop being a bitch!" she snide, her eyes widened in frustration. I just laughed at that, haven't she seen herself in the mirror "Darling, that title is yours" I said calmly not minding her words at all because I know her very well. She is all bark and no bite. Derek is holding his laugh as well. She glare at me furiously. "Let's go I don't want to be late because of you" she said still glaring at me. She acts like she is my superior. If she wasn't Mother's favorite, I would have kicked her ass by now. She tried to walk past me but I held her forearm and nodded at Derek. "What the he...." She started saying before I teleported us to neighboring Kingdom.

Yes, I can do teleportation. All the Royals of Sabriya can do it but not inside our Kingdom because it is enchanted by my Aunt who is a witch so no one can enter our Kingdom without permission. "You could have warned me!" Sarah said or more like shrink, holding her head. 

Like I care. 

I just ignored her and entered in Kingdom Una. They have alliance with us, so they never stop us whenever we came in their Kingdom. I smiled at the gatekeeper Vin. He smiled back and opened the door to the entrance for us. Barbie followed closely behind me still murmuring something. "Why are you ignoring me?" her annoying voice shrills in my ear. I turn around and glare at her "Shut your trap" I said coldly, gritting my teeth in irritation. 

I have to save my best friend and here I am wasting my time with this piece of shit. 

She shut her mouth, a little frightened with my behavior. I am scary when people pissed me off. After that she followed me silently. We made our way to the coffee shop. "Hey Em, how are you today?" Ally called me from behind the counter. She works in this shop. She is a good friend. I asked Sarah to sit at the corner table. She went without any argument to which I chuckled silently. 

I made my way towards the counter. "Hey Ally, I am great and you?" I smiled at her. "I am fine" She smiled back. "What brings you here today?" she asked while handling the customers as well. "I need a favor" I told her straight forward not beating around the bush, neither I have time nor energy to waste right now. She raised her eyebrow in question. So I carry on, "Ask your brother to accompany her for the day" I said gesturing towards Sarah who was looking in our direction but she quickly averted her eyes away when she saw us looking at her. "Why?" she amused sparing a glance to the girl who was sitting silently in the corner. "I will tell you later" I said while making my way to the back door knowing well she won't be denying me. I trust Ally, she will take care of this Barbie. 

Plan one getting out of Castle is finished, now it's time for plan two. How I am going get in the Midnight Kingdom? I went to the entrance of the Kingdom. Vin was there chatting with an old lady telling her some joke. I just walked past him without anyone noticing me. That's good, then everybody will think I am still in the Kingdom.
