I was in my room passing the time. Servants came to call me for the work but I am stubborn as hell. I won't be going to do the 'chores', I sat on my bed staring at the wall aimlessly.
Wasting time is such a hard work, Rose snickered in my mind.
'So you are saying that I should do what he told me like I am his puppet' I said irritation leaking from my voice.
I never said that, you can use the time to train or do something useful
'I am doing something useful' I chuckled humorlessly still staring at the wall, I should do something better than that. Maybe roam around in the Castle to check how are the arrangements going on for the ball. Yeah. That's a good idea, waste your time in roaming around here.

'Thank you, I tried' I smirked getting up from the bed to do something useful. I opened the door and saw servants running here and there for the upcoming ball. I sighed in irritation, I don't know why I am feeling this much irritation. I guess, I should train for a while. It will be good for me and my mood. I made my way to the training field dodging the servants who were hurrying for their work. Suddenly I heard a shout behind me making me halt in my way. I turned around to look for the person who was apparently calling me. "You, new maid" the woman who took me to my 'new' room was coming towards me with scowl on her face.
What the hell she wants now.
"Where are you going?" she said stopping in front of me with her permanent scowl.
She will get wrinkles this way, Rose snickered
"Training field" I replied confused, why was she asking me. "Oh no, no, no, you have chores to do, we have lots of work to do" she said shaking her head. "What work?" I frowned, I am not going to help in the chores.
At least you won't get bored.
'I have training for that' I replied in my mind. "You are a maid, do your work otherwise" she snapped. She lost her temper quickly, such a bad trait for a maid.
Head maid actually
'Whatever' I said still looking at the woman in front of me. "Look, I am not a maid here, if you have a problem you can talk to your almighty King" I said and turned around to walk away from her. I don't have time for her bull shit. She started shouting for me to stop but I ignored her and went in the direction of training field. I need to freshen up my mind.
She is going to report to the King
'I am not afraid' I said irritation lacing in my words.
Well he can put us in dungeon or worse punish us
'I don't care, he still needs us, so I will do whatever I want to do, I am not someone's lap dog' I snapped at her not wanting to argue any more on this topic. This King has made my life a living hell. I will make sure that before I get out of here, I will give him my personal hell.

I opened the enormous door of training ground, there was no one in sight. Whole field was empty. Wow good for me. I quickly put the training clothes and took the sword from its sheath and went to the middle of the field. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath to clear my mind from the other conversation. Then I started swinging my sword with slow pace flexing my muscles and then increasing my speed at every swing. At the end making it quite impossible to see. I was happy with my progress, because last time I did this much exercise, I was panting like a dog.
