Chapter 5

I groaned feeling pain all over my body. I opened my eyes and blinked them couple of times to adjust to the light. First thought came across my mind was where am I? I was lying on the bed in a room. Walls were of white color, same with the curtains. It looked like I am in an infirmary. I tried to sit up but winced in pain. 

Shit. What the hell happened to me? 

I tried to remember what I did last. When suddenly my eyes grew wide remembering I went to save Will. 

Is he okay? 

What happened to him? Last thing I remembered that they were going to kill him. In a haste to know what happened with him, I stood up from the bed, my body was shaking uncontrollably and pain shoot through in my body even with the slight movement. I sat back on the bed again when pain became unbearable. "You should lie down" a voice said from the door. I looked in that direction to see Dante coming in the room with tray in his hand. I sighed in relief, I am in my own Kingdom. Well if I was in the enemy kingdom I wouldn't be lying in the bed. I would be in the stinky dungeon. "Will" I said, my voice hoarse, from not using much. Suddenly a glass came into my vision and I gulped it down without any second thought. The taste of the drink was sour. "He is fine, better than you" Dante said inspecting me for any injuries. I took a breath in relief. 

Will is save.

 At least Rose did her work. Pain in my body is reducing with time. I sighed and lied down on the bed feeling peaceful. "What happened when I was unconscious?" I questioned him closing my eyes. "Well where to start" he said like there are many things to say. "From the start" I muttered, relaxing my eyelid, they felt heavy. "Okay, First you entered in the enemy Kingdom without any plan or back up. Second you killed many people there, burned them alive, destroyed their property" he said normally like he is reciting some lines from the book. My eyes flew opened, I killed innocent people, terrorized their Kingdom. What have you done Rose! We just had to save Will not to destroy the place. We are not monster like him.

"And the best part was you sucked their magical spell which was securing their entrance. Now they are vulnerable" he said happily. I grimaced hearing that, my face must have shown my worry because Dante asked me "What happened?". 

I couldn't even answer him. Thoughts clouding my mind that I have killed people, Innocent people blood are on my hands. "You know, you are an idiot" he suddenly said breaking me out of my thoughts. I furrowed my eye brow in confusion.

 "Why?" I asked sitting on the bed and looking at him. 

"Well you just boldly went in the enemy Kingdom" he said like I am the most stupid person in the world. 

I rolled my eyes. "I can do anything for my family and friends" I said truthfully. I can even die for them if situation demands for it. He sighed dramatically "I know".

"How are you feeling?" he said after a while in serious tone. "I am feeling better" I said stretching my arms which are not paining now. Dante medicine is best.

"King Steve asked for your presence after you feel alright" he said like he wanted me to say otherwise. "I will go" I said standing on my legs. I know what going to happened. My fate is already sealed.

I stood in front of my father office hesitating if I should knock or not. I never knocked on his door before but situation has been changed. After standing for a minute , I knocked on the door. "Come in" father voice came from the other side. I opened the door and entered in the room. My gaze was on the floor because of the guilt and shame I was feeling right now. I can feel father stare on me. "Take a seat" Father said in hard voice.
