I have never put so much effort into a story before. This book is my baby. I have a plot map of this book and everything that I want to happen and what chapter it happens in.

The sun had come up by time I was leaving the house. I did not plan anything that I needed to say to Drew to get him to leave me alone. Instead I sat in bed and wondered how I would try and not think about him.

I had grown rather fond of Drew in the past few days. He was one of the only friends around my age that was not stuck up. There weren't many people in this small town that were out and about looking for friends their age.

My usual pants, shirt, and shoes were on and I was out the front door silently. There were a few kids chasing each other around the dirt path and some parents just resting on the ground. The bakery even had a few people standing outside of it.

Drew was one of them.

He immediately lifted his hand and sent a grin and a wave my way. I smiled back half-heartedly and waved back.

I opened the bakery doors and the people started to flood in. There was still some bread from the day before but I knew I would need more so before I took any orders, I started to make some fresh bread. It took me about 15 minutes but it was in the oven by then and would be done soon.

"Hello, what can I get you?"

After I had helped all the customers, Drew finally stepped up to the counter with a bright grin.

I sighed to myself internally and bit my lip. "Hey Drew."

"Hey, I have been waiting to talk to you."

"Look," I bit my lip and glanced behind him, Diane was standing there along with Ivy. I adverted my eyes to the counter-top. "We cannot talk anymore, Drew. We cannot be friends or hangout together any more. And lastly I am sorry for ever coming into your life, you did not deserve it."

His breath caught and I looked up at him to see him looking at me with hurt in his eyes. He opened his mouth to speak but was interrupted with Ivy and Diane walking up.

"Zayn! Oh, who is this?"

I took in a breath and glanced at Drew, trying to get him to understand. "Oh um, Ivy, Diane, this is Drew. Drew, Ivy and Diane. My mother and sister."

Realization appeared in Drew's eyes but nonetheless he turned and smiled as politely as possible. "Hello. Nice to meet you two lovely ladies." He kissed both of their hands and nodded in my direction. "Well, I would like 4 loaves of bread and once again, your finest pig and cow, but also lamb."
