Sarah had her arms wrapped around her husband's neck, her heels pressed together in front of his stomach,
"It's as if you didn't miss leg day," he chuckled, wrapping his fingers around her ankle to make sure she didn't fall, She nodded in understanding to what he had said,
"I didn't," she replied firmly, "And I hopefully won't ever,"
He laughed and threw his head back, which resulted in it on her chest, she sent a bright smile down at him, removing one arm from his neck to pet his hair lightly,
"Hey," she hummed, this was a perfect position, she was able to see into his eyes much easier now, she could bend her neck a little and kiss his nose if she really wanted to. But that wasn't the only reason, he was holding protectively onto her ankles, one of her arms around his neck, but not tightly to choke him. He closed his eyes and leant his head forward again, beginning his stride once again. She looked forward also, clicking her shoe heels together a few times as if she were wanting to go home. Brendon kneeled down for her to get off, which she did. She set her feet on the ground slowly and removed her body from his back.
"Where did you take us?" she asked and looked around at the multiple shops that lined the sidewalk they stood upon, Frantic shoppers and people with their phones out surrounded them like a herd of wild sheep.
"Downtown,"
"Obviously, but where downtown,"
"Here,"
she rolled her eyes and looked up at the store sign 'Nothing and everything' it read. She cocked her head and looked in through one of the big windows, lining it was shirts hanging on a thread, and hearts hanging over them and beside them. Many people holding hands were looking through items on shelves that Sarah's eyes couldn't see. Brendon grabbed her hand lightly and slowly guided her inside, as the door closed behind them, a bell chimed. Inside, the fresh scent of chocolate filled their noses, making Sarah hum in satisfaction. She looked at the shelf the couple had been looking at and saw it was actually lined with a different assortment of wines.
"Oh, I see," she smirked at him, He slowly brought her to another shelf, which had many choices of the said chocolate they had smelled upon their arrival. He shrugged,
"Romantic," he laughed,
"So I now see your plan for tonight," she laughed as a lady in a dark blood red dress, a tattoo of a heart that said 'A + H' walked over to them, putting a small smile on her pale face,
"Can I help you two?" she cocked her head, her blonde ponytail moving a bit at the motion,
"Nah, I think we have it covered, but we'll totally come to you if we do," Brendon replied to her. She nodded and walked to the back of the store. He grabbed a small pack of caramel chocolates and some that had melted chocolate in the middle. He shook them,
"You know, this is where I get all those chocolates you usually get for your birthday,"
"Really?" Sarah grabbed one of the packs from his hand and looked it over, running a light thumb over it, she nodded slowly. Brendon always had a chocolate and wine surprise for her on her birthday, they never fell into having sex. It was just a cuddling on the couch, clinking their drinks together and drinking it.
"So nothing and everything?" She hummed, looking back up at him. He grabbed the chocolate back and nodded, "Yeah, I thought it'd be fun to just get some romantic stuff even before your birthday comes along,"
Sarah looked aimlessly at the floor, humming for maybe the third time today,
"That actually sounds pretty nice," She leant up and pressed a light kiss to his lips. He ran his fingers through her locks, nodding a little. Brendon whistled for the lady, who then ran back out with her hair in a messy ponytail.
"Hey, yeah, I...We'd like to buy these," Sarah pushed in front of him, making him stumble a little in surprise. She put on a big smile as the lady walked behind the wooden counter, also covered in shiny hearts, such a romantic place in Sarah's opinion. The lady reached over Sarah and handed Brendon the chocolate. He gripped the boxes and guided himself out, Sarah following suite. They walked along the rocky pavement, Sarah trying to keep up with the taller man in front of her, Who only sped up when she got close enough to touch him. Sarah huffed a piece of brown hair from her face and ran to him, grabbing tightly to his wrist and holding it. He smirked and lifted his arm a little, making her hand fall gently into his palm, he wrapped his fingers around it. She smiled and held his hand tightly back, not wanting to ever lose him. Isn't it funny, how two people in love can be messing with each other and make the other mad, and then be holding hands the very next second.
That's the kind of endless Love that goes on with the Uries.
