NOT ON PURPOSE

Chapter 3 True Colors

Yesterday was chaos. I couldn't get it off my head last night. My parents kept asking me if I'm doing fine every 2 minutes.

School today has nothing to talk about. I tried my best not to bump into SunWoo and NaHyun. I'm glad I did survived school today without having bumpy roads.

I walked past silent school hall towards my locker. I was a little late because I had my assignment done by the time everyone already headed home.

As I was about to finish arranging my books in the locker, someone held me by the shoulders and slammed my back against the wall. My head felt dizzy and I couldn't get myself straight.

I lifted my head and recognized it was SunWoo.

" I've been searching for you all day, where have you been?! " He yelled at me.

I only stare at the floor in silence. I trembled on my knees while my heart pounded loudly in rage. I have never seen this innocent looking guy yelled at someone. He sure has been hiding the real sight of his underneath those fake smile and laughter.

" You really have made my life miserable " He continued. He released his anger by kicking my lower thigh. He kicked continuously until at one point, I trembled and fell on my knees.

" Mr Kim, you may stop now " a familiar voice spoke few meters away. We both look at the direction from the source of the sound, it was Mrs Kim. I stood up in pain slowly.

" Don't you remember what I've said yesterday? " Before SunWoo could respond, " 2 hours of detention class " Mrs Kim said before leaving us alone.

SunWoo sighed in frustration and made his way to detention class, leaving me behind.

I thought I'd escape bumpy road, not quite.

At this moment, I realized I wanted to escape my life so badly and as the time passes by, my life slowly changes from pathetic to extra pathetic.
