Chapter 10 Stay

SeulKyung's POV

" I mean, what's the worst that could happen? "

I said in my mind as I unlocked and pushed the door.

Two seconds after,

My dad suddenly approached the hall.

" Who is this guy SeulKyung?! "

It got both of us startled, " He is ju-just my friend " I stuttered.

" Do you really want to marry this early??! Answer me!!! "

I quickly get off SunWoo's back, " No dad, look, I can explain this "

" I don't need an explaination!! " My dad yelled as he clenched his fist.

SunWoo stood there in silence. I could tell he was shivering.

My dad punched SunWoo in the face, really hard.

" Dad!!! " I shouted.

Narrator's POV

" I mean, what's the worst that could happen? " she said it in her mind as she unlocked and pushed the door.

The house was very quiet. It was just as yesterday. None of her imagination becomes reality.

SeulKyung carefully get off SunWoo's back.

" I'll get going then " SunWoo said, taking his bag from SeulKyung. However, she wont let him have it, " Give it.  What's wrong with you? " He said in annoyance.

" Please don't leave "

" What? "

" I'm scared " she said cutely.

" That wont work on me "

" I'll treat you an ice-cream tomorrow at school "

" We don't have school tomorrow "

" Whatever, just get in! "

She dragged him inside then quickly locked the door.

" Have you eaten? " SeulKyung asked.

" Yeah, I just- "

" I'll get you some snacks " she said, running to the kitchen.

SeulKyung gave him 101 types of snacks to make him stay. Until at one point, he can eat no more and fell asleep.

The clock kept ticking. It has been 4 hours since SeulKyung made him stay. SunWoo's phone kept ringing. His parents were worried about him.

However, he didn't get to answer them since he was sleeping. SeulKyung tapped the decline button for him. She even texted his parents, ' I'm staying at my friend's house, be back tmrw '
