My school was having a little show when I got a solo. We were singing the Star Spangled Banner and I got the solo! I was so excited! When it came time, I ran confidently to the front of the stage, and belted out my part. I took a curtsy, but then realized that I sang the words of the Pledge of Allegiance to the tune!! It was soo humliating! How will I ever live it down?

Oh my gosh, I could feel myself blush as I read this! Well, here's how to fix it. 1.) Don't feel sorry for yourself. SO you made a mistake? Seriously, everyone does. 2.) Take the ridicule, if any. Some may find it funny to tease you. If it's mean, walk away. Just remember, friends always bring up embarrassing moment for fun. 3.) Try out for the next solo. You still got it, YOU GO GIRL!!!
