Jodie scrolled down her Instagram as she waited on Jazzy to get ready for some party that Jodie wasn't really interested in. Some how, she had convinced Jodie to go. It had been two weeks since she's been in New York and she managed to pick herself up pretty quick. She now had her own apartment in Queens and worked part time at Jazzy's boutique. She had about a 45 minute commute but she didn't mind it. She even brought her a new car after she sold the old one that she had stolen from her ex. After using the money that she took to buy furniture she opened an account with the bank and put the rest inside. It was a good six thousand in it.

After getting bored with her timeline, she switched over to her explore page and began scrolling. She abruptly stopped at a post that caught her eye. It was a post from Keyaan.

Jodie found herself smiling and liking the picture before her brain could process it. She quickly unliked the picture but groaned once she realized that it was no point because he had already got the notification. She moved from her spot on Jazzy's couch and walked against the soft light brown carpet towards Jazzy's room.

"Jazzy!" She banged on the door, annoyed. They were suppose to be at the kickback two hours prior but Jazzy was acting like she couldn't put together a outfit.

"Stop banging on the damn door. I'm coming." Her voice spoke from the other side briefly. Jodie rolled her eyes as her patience wore thin. She pushed the door open to see Jazzy leaned over her nightstand with a straw in her hand.

She jumped quickly but not quick enough because Jodie had already witnessed her. Jodie didn't know what to say.

Jazzy is doing cocaine? She felt light-headed at the thought. Instead of speaking her mind she pulled the door closed with the clear image of cocaine at the edge of Jazzy's nose, in her head.

She sat back down on the couch, speechless and just decided to wait. Minutes later Jazzy came out of her bedroom with her attire on and an uneasy look on her face. Jazzy looked good. Jodie would've never guessed that she was even playing with her nose.
