Walking into the house, Jodie sighed and made her way to the bedroom. She was beyond tired, not to mention she felt kind of bad for not coming home last night. She was so buzzed that she ended up crashing at China's house for the night. It was now 7 o'clock in the morning and she was just now walking in.
Once walking into the room, Jodie smiled a small smile seeing Keyaan laid out across the bed. Sitting her stuff down, she kicked her shoes off and climbed up on the bed and sat on top of him.
"Baby..." She rubbed up and down his chest slowly before leaning down to kiss his neck but she quickly lifted up with her face scrunched up and got off of him.
She stared at him in silence for a moment before coaching herself silently. Clasping her hands together she brought them up to her face and looked up.
Please don't make me fuck this nigga up, lord. You know I will. She thought to herself.
Something was telling her to stay calm, be a civilized person and listen to his explanation but the other part of her was telling her to jack this nigga up and fight him.
She wanted to know why the hell he had hickies all over him and why he smelled like cheap ass old lady perfume. She always wore that good good, so he couldn't say it was her smell and she damn sure ain't mark him up so at this point she was heated.
Looking around the room for something to throw she settled on her pink slide and chucked it at his face, waking him up immediately.
"Yo, what the fuck you got going?!" He hollered with a scowl.
"Nah my nigga, what the FUCK you got going? Get the fuck up and square the fuck up!" Taking her earring off and unzipping her jacket she stepped back enough for him to get up.
"Jodie what's up with you, yo? Why you acting like this?!" He sat up and rubbed his hand down his face.
"I let you go have fun ONE TIME! One fucking time Keyaan! A-and you decide to have hickies all over you! That's how you do me?!"
"Hickies? Man what are you talking about? I don't got no fucking hickies on me!" He stands up and walks to the bathroom with Jodie hot on his trail.
"Oh yeah?" Jodie flips the switch on and snatches his collar down. "What the fuck are these then? Huh?! You must think I'm a dumb ass or something."
Keyaan starred at the hickies confused. "I don't know how these got here Jodie."
"Nigga what?!" Jodie raised her hand to slap him but pulled her hands up to her lips and her leg shook. She silently prayed to herself.
She didn't want to be abusive. She had been through that and it wasn't something that she enjoyed. She knew that if she was to hit Keyaan and he were to hit her back, it'll be world war three.
"Keyaan." She spoke in a warning tone. "Now is not the time to play dumb."
"Jodie—"
"Don't say no stupid shit."
"Listen—"
"My hands quick, remember that."
"Jodie!" He yelled making her jump. "I don't fucking know where or who gave these to me. I don't even remember how I got home."
"Well you got to remember if someone was on your fucking neck! You smell like stank ass old lady perfume. Like you bathed in cats and pussy willows."
"Baby listen to me. I promise you that I don't know where these came from. I wouldn't do you like that. I swear on my moms."
"Then where did they come from, Keyaan. They aren't just gonna pop up randomly. If you can't be responsible enough to know your limit then you don't need to fucking drink. Period. Give me your phone."
Keyaan rubbed his hand down his face and groaned. He was frustrated because he knew that he didn't cheat, but he couldn't remember anything from the night prior like he wanted to.
"It's on the bed. You know the code. I don't have nothing to hide from you Jodie. You know me." Jodie bumps past him and goes to his phone to look through it.
She throws it back on the bed when she doesn't find anything. Instead she decides that she's going to leave. She wasn't about to keep going through this. She knew the signs when somebody was cheating. She dealt with it for three years and she wasn't about to deal with it anymore.
Going in the closet to grab her bag, she stuffed as many clothes as she could into her bag and hurriedly zipped it up.
Keyaan froze once he came out of the bathroom with a stressed look on his face.
He didn't understand why Jodie was acting this way. He loved her too much to cheat on her. But apparently she thought otherwise.
"Jodie where you going man?" He got no response.
After Jodie gathered as much stuff in her hand as she could she threw her bag over her shoulder and hurried out of the room with Keyaan hot on her tail.
"Baby, please calm down." He grabbed her arm but let go when Jodie turned around with tears running down her face.
"Don't touch me right now." She warned. Emotional wasn't even the word. She felt like she was living her old life all over again. Minus the physical abuse of course.
"Listen to me for a second." He pleaded. Jodie shook her head and continued to stalk towards the door.
"Jodi-" Grabbing her arm again he let go quickly again when he felt her left hand go across his face.
"I said, Don't fucking touch me right now Keyaan. Just leave me the fuck alone right now, okay? I need a couple days to myself." She wiped her face with the back of her hand and left out the door, slamming it shut.
He knew she was heated. He couldn't lie, he'd be angry to. But something deep down told him that he didn't step out on Jodie willingly and he was gonna find out what it was sure enough.
