Chapter 5

We walked inside and everyone was there. Alice was the first one to jump and hug Kat.

"Hi! i'm Alice and I think that we are gonna be best friends, I've seen it"

"She said the same thing to me when we first met"my mother said with an amused look on her face.

As everyone started to introduce themselves Kat seemed to relax a bit more and actually fit in with everyone else. I noticed she was closest to Nessie, even though they just met the y seemed to really like each other but not in the lesbo way cause that would knock my chances as well as Jake's out of the window. We all sat in the sitting area on the pristine white sofas and talked about things when Carlisle came into the room. It was around 3 in the morning and I don't think anyone wanted Kat to leave. She looked like she was having so much fun.

"Don't you think it's about time for you kids to go to sleep?" Grandma Esme asked while sitting on one of the sofas next to Gramps.

"Yea, I should be heading home it's like 3 in the morning." Katniss replied looking a little shocked at the realisation of the time.

"Where do you live?" asked Carlisle taking interest in the conversation.

"I live downtown in the apartments."

"Well it's far too late to go now, how about you stay the night." Esme said.

"No, it's alright. I don't want to be a burden"

"Don't be silly. Do you have to call anyone to inform them you're staying the night here?"

"No, I live alone, but I seriously need to go home and pack."

"Your leaving?" Alice said looking a little disappointed.

"Yea next week actually."

"But why??" Alice wined."I saw us going shopping and stuff, i'm almost never wrong and my vision hasn't changed yet."

"Well, I'm sorry but I can't risk my father finding me."

"You're on the run?"Carlise questioned

"Yea, kinda"

"Then you can stay with us from now on, we can protect you from your dad." Nessie said taking Alice's side.

"Yea," Alice said turning to face Carlisle"she can stay with us right Carlisle."

"Ofcourse she can, sweety would you like to be a part of our family?" Esme said, not allowing her husband to give an answer.

"No it's alright, I don't want to put you guys in danger as well." Katniss replied a little disappointed herself.

"We won't be in danger after all why do we have Emment, deffinetly not as a trophy." I butted in giving my Uncle a glance, he stuck out his chest with pride and nodded.

"i shall protect you with my life." Emmet said with a fake deep voice. Rose started laugh hysterically and pecked Emmet on the cheek.

"If it's alright with all of you I really would love to stay here."Katniss said looking around the room nervously.

"Of course it's alright."My mother said engulfing Kat into a big hug. When she let go Alice and Nessie ran to her and pulled her into a big group hug while they all started squealing like 10 year olds meeting Justin Bieber for the first time (A/N I am a strong Belieber). They all rushed upstairs to show Kat around the house leaving the rest of us behind.

"I think her father really is dangerous."My father said once he was certain Kat wouldn't hear.
