2 ~ I Couldn't Seem To Die

Alex's P.O.V

I was twelve when my mother died
She was holding me
We were sick and she was holding me
I couldn't seem to die...

When I was seventeen a hurricane
Destroyed my town
I didn't drown
I couldn't seem to die...

I was sitting on my bed, writing in my notebook while John sat on his bed on the other side of the room. I occasionally snuck glances at him.

John is so adorable. He was reading a book, the title of which I couldn't make out, on his bed. His freckles, the way he twisted his hair on his finger without realizing it, his chocolate - brown eyes... I sighed, knowing he had to be straight.

I had known I was bisexual for..... let's see... well, my whole life, pretty much. John looked up and saw me staring at him just then. I blushed and looked back down to my notebook.

John's P.O.V

I looked up to see Alexander staring at me. He blushed and looked back down to his notebook. I wish I had a chance with him... Alas, he was straight. I just knew it.

Putting my book down, I grabbed my phone and went to my messages, starting a group chat.

I looked up at Alex again. He was looking at me, and once he saw me looking at him he smiled and waved. I waved back.

AndPeggy - Let's all meet up tomorrow to meet Alex!

HamMan - Sure

IHopeYouBurn - The Schuyler sisters can come

LaBaguette - Herc and I can come

TurtleBoy - ok

TalkLess - Sorry I'm busy

TurtleBoy - How about the coffee shop that's right off campus? 2 pm?

LaBaguette - yep

I stretched and got up off my bed. Grabbing my turtle pillow pet from my bag and throwing it on my bed, I noticed it just started storming hard outside. All of a sudden, I noticed Alex was gone.

"Alex?" I called. I heard whimpering coming from the ground next to his bed. "Is that you?"

I walked over to discover Alex lying on the floor, curled up and whimpering into his knees.

"Alexander! What's wrong?!" Lightning flashed, and he started crying harder. I picked him up - it was easy because he was about 4 inches smaller than me and a lot lighter. I set him down on his bed, and he looked at me, seeming very vulnerable.

"P-please stay...." He whimpered softly, grabbing my arm in fear.

"Of course I will.."

I fell asleep with him in my arms.

618 words..! I might write another chapter in a few hours because it's only like 9:30 pm... how did you like this chapter? I thought the last sentence was kinda cute♡
