Last chapter! :D

6 Months Later

Third Person P.O.V.

Inside the Church, beautiful piano music played.  It was the day of Alex and John's wedding.

Alex walked down the isle A.n. - is that the right spelling???? - towards John, tears of happiness in his eyes.  He was arm in arm with Mr. Washington, Alex's adopted father.  John waited at the end.

Just as Alex stepped onto the platform and people started crying because the wedding was beautiful, the lights went off.  People started screaming as the door slammed open.

In stepped Aaron Burr.  He had a gun in his hand and a smile on his face.

Before anyone could make a move, he screamed "What a beautiful wedding!"  SAYS THE BRIDESMAID TO A WAITER OH YES BUT WHAT A SHAME WHAT A SHAME THE POOR GROOM'S BRIDE IS A -let's stop now. Then, a shot rang out and Alex crumpled to the floor.  Another shot rang out and Aaron fell to the floor, too.

John screamed and sobbed as he bent down to Alex.  Alex just smiled weakly and hugged John to the best of his abilities.

"I love you." Alex whispered.  "Always remember that."  He was about to say something else, but his eyes glazed over and he fell limp.  John immediately felt Alex's heart stop.

"Alex!  NO!" He screamed.  However, there was nothing he could do.

So, for the last time, he hugged Alex's lifeless body.

"If I could tell him how he's everything to me," John sang softly. "But we're now a million world apart, so how could I even start?"  

The worst part was, John never got to say his final 'I love you.'

Would Alex ever know how much he meant to John?

  John lied down next to Alex, and hoped that Alex knew.

"I love you." He whispered to a dead body.

"I love you."

I was planning this ending even before I wrote the first chapter.  Thanks for all the support!!  I might write another Hamilton book, but I want to focus more on my Meggy one.
