Eliza's P.O.V.
I sat on my bed, staring at the wall. How is everyone getting over Peggy's death so easily? I miss her so much...
As I stood up, wiping away a few tears, I looked out the window and noticed Alex outside. Then I saw John holding his hand and walking next to him.
Finally, I actually want to be in a relationship with someone, and they start dating someone else. All of a sudden I had an idea. It might not work, and it might hurt John, but whatever.
Third Person P.O.V.
Eliza ran down the halls until she reached Maria Reynolds' room. As she pounded on the door, you could hear a faint voice from inside.
"I'm coming!" Maria yelled. Eliza stopped knocking and just stood there.
When the door opened, Eliza found herself face to face with Maria Reynolds. Maria is going to have short hair, in honor of Jazzy's haircut :)
Maria had frizzy shoulder length dark brown hair, brown eyes, and olive skin.
"What is it?" Maria asked, her eyes a bit red. It looked as if she'd been crying.
"I need your help." Eliza said seriously, staring into Maria's eyes. "Can I tell you an idea I have?"
Welcoming her in, Maria closed the door and leaned against the wall. "So, what's this idea of yours?"
John's P.O.V.
Alex and I walked across the campus, holding hands and joking with eachother.
When I looked up towards the dorms, I saw Eliza. I waved, but she just glared at me and left the window. Weird.
Turning back to Alex, I remembered a joke.
"Hey Alex, what do you call a famous turtle?"
"What?" He replied, smiling.
"A shellebrity." We both laughed at the stupid joke. Because we were laughing, we didn't see "King" George, and his boyfriends Charles Lee and Samuel Seabury walk up to us. Yes, boyfriends. Plural.
"Well, well, well." Lee spat. "If it isn't Alexander Hamilton."
"We heard about poor little Peggy." King George said, smirking.
"Poor, poor Peggy." Seabury added.
"Don't you dare speak about Peggy." Alex said in a low voice, his fists clenching.
"Alex.." I whispered, gently grabbing his arm. "We should probably get going..."
I pulled him away from King George, Seabury, and Lee before they started fighting.
"John!" He stared at me, angrily. "Why'd you pull me away?"
"I didn't want you to get hurt, okay?" I responded, trying to avoid an argument. Suddenly he ripped his arm away from me.
"I don't need you to protect me!" After saying this, he stalked off and I sighed. Time to go back to the dorm. I'll take the long way today.
