5 ~ The Schuyler Sisters

Okay mentally prepare yourself for this. Angelica, Eliza, and Peggy are all rooming together, by the way.

Time Skip - The Next Morning

John's P.O.V.

I woke up with a yawn. Glancing at my alarm clock, I saw that it was 8:55 AM. I have to wake up Alex! He's going to be late for class!

I jumped out of bed and ran over to Alex, attempting to shake him awake.

"Alex!" I shouted, "Wake up!"

He just rolled over and mumbled something. Sighing, I yanked his covers off...

To find him with no pants on.

I stifled a scream, and threw the covers back on him. How is he not waking up??

Walking over to the restroom, I grabbed a towel and soaked it with water, then ran back to Alex.

Okay... 3.. 2.. 1... I wrung out the towel over Alex's face. He woke up, finally.

Glaring at me, he started yelling. "What the actual heck, John?! Why did you wake me up, especially by pouring freaking water all over me?!"

I started getting angry too, "I was just trying to help you wake up so you aren't late for your classes! I tried yelling your name and shaking you. I even tried taking your blanket away so you'd be freezing and you would wake up, but... you aren't exactly dressed."  He blushed at that comment, and I continued.  "So, next time, I guess I'll just let you skip your classes. See if I care!"

As I was storming away towards my bed, he yelled one more thing back at me.

"I don't even have classes today!"

Honest mistake.

Angelica's P.O.V.
I woke up to hear a thud. Thinking it was just the people in the room next to us, I tried to fall back asleep. Sadly, I couldn't.

Sighing, I grabbed my phone and opened a website dedicated to memes. I scrolled through, looking and reading them, until finally I fell asleep.

...I wonder what that thud earlier was?

Eliza's P.O.V.

I woke up, feeling refreshed. Knowing I had to take a shower, I grabbed a towel and walked over to the restroom while humming softly. But, what I saw made me freeze.

I screamed. "Angie!"

Johns's P.O.V.

All of a sudden, I got an incoming call from Angelica.  I sighed, then answered.

Angie was sobbing. "J-John!  Get over here to our dorm.  Now!  P-please!"  I heard screaming in the background.  Then she hung up.

Worried, I called Alex. "Alex, get dressed fast.  Something happened to the Schuyler sisters!"

I threw on some clothes, and so did he.  We ran out the door.

------time skip, now at the Schuyler dorm-----

Alex and I burst into the dorm room. "Angie!  Where are you?!"

I heard crying coming from the bathroom.  I ran over, and saw Laf, Herc, Eliza, and Angelica shaking a lifeless Peggy.

"Peggy!" I screamed. "What the heck happened?!  Is she alive?!"

Eliza stared at me with red, empty eyes. "She's gone.  She tripped, most likely, then passed out and drowned in the bathtub she filled."

Angelica was rocking back and forth and hyperventilating. "She's dead.  She's dead.  She's dead..."

Laf and Herc were sobbing while hugging each other.

Alex was standing there shocked.  He fell to his knees.  "No..." he whispered.

And me?  I was standing there, doing nothing, witnessing my best friends breaking down while another one of my best friends lied there dead.

As I screamed, police officers and firefighters rushed in, taking Peggy away. 

Why...?

Peggy's P.O.V.

Smiling, I filled the bathtub with water.  I had a good feeling about today, I was planning to ask Maria Reynolds out later!

Accidentally spilling a bit of water on the floor, I grabbed a washcloth to dry it off.  As I turned around, I slipped on the water and fell into the bathtub.

Thud.

I was lying face down in the water.  I tried screaming, and moving, but I couldn't.  I slowly felt myself losing air and consciousness.

I tried to scream again, dimly seeing the blood around me, but it was useless.

Then everything went black.

Aw this is only 683 words.  I'm so sad now!  RIP Peggy.  Hope you liked this chapter!  Any suggestions?
