"So you guys left Fairy Tail? Why?" Lucy asked.

She sat on the bed with Happy, Carla, and Lily in her arms as she petted the three of them. Happy looked up at her utterly confused but remembering that her memories had been rewritten, he reworded his words.

"We just followed you because we want to be with you," Happy replied. "Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy didn't really need us."

Lucy looked at the three of them with a frown on her face. Her eyes were filled with sadness as she thought about what the three of them must've been through. Even she...wait. What happened to her? Trying to recall what she was missing, she stared into nothingness with a pale look on her face. She was forgetting something. What was it? What was it that she was forgetting?

Loki noticed the look on her face and immediately snapped her out of her thoughts.

"Lucy, considering that those three over there have nowhere else to go," Loki said as he put his shades back on. "Why don't you allow them to accompany you? Having three exceeds accompany you will make your journey less boring."

Lucy looked at him and smiled.

"Yeah, I was planning on doing that anyway!" she said, completely forgetting what she had just been thinking about.

Loki heaved a sigh of relief as he looked towards Happy, Carla, and Lily.

Don't you dare tell her or even remind her of any of it, he said to them through his eyes.

The three hurriedly nodded, agreeing with him. The three of them were the least ones that wanted Lucy to be reminded of all the things she had gone through because of the guild. Their insults, the tortures, the fakes, all of it wasn't worth remembering and making her lose her life over it.

"Seeing that there's no need for me to be here anymore, I'll be going back to that task you gave me," Loki said. "By the way, nice lingerie you have there, Lucy."

Lucy blushed and before she could grab something to hit him, he closed his gate with a playful smirk. Lucy covered herself with the blanket out of instinct and once she couldn't feel his presence in the room anymore, she sighed.

"Happy, Carla, Lily," she said to them. "Welcome aboard!"

Happy, Carla, and Lily both opened their mouths in huge grins and smiles as they nodded their head enthusiastically, hugging her tightly back in the process. Only Lucy made them feel light and fluffy inside. Lucy was the only one that treated them like they were equals. After settling down and showing them their rooms, Lucy changed back into her clothes and sat on the sofas. She had ordered some cups of tea, sweets, and fish (of course).

"So, Lucy," Happy said as he munched on his fish. "Where are we going?"

"I've been wanting to ask that, too," Carla added as she sipped her tea. "We just followed you in the midst of it all without wondering where you were heading."

"Is there something you need in Clover Town?" Lily asked.

Lucy smiled secretly as she took a bite of the cake with her fork. She set the fork back down and looked out the window, the trees turning into a blur as the train flew past them.

"I'm going to find Laxus," she finally said.

The three of them widened their eyes in surprise as sweat drops formed on their face, their face paling.

"You want to invite him back?! Laxus?!" Happy cried out.

"Are you talking about Makarov's grandson? The lightning dragon slayer that tried taking over the guild a few years back?" Lily asked.
