The following day, they had arrived in Margaret Town. As soon as they got off, they attracted huge crowds of attention. Most of them were pulled towards the incomparable beauty of Lucy while others were admiring how handsome and muscular Laxus still looked.
"By now, this is pretty much normal," Carla commented with a stoic face.
"Ah. It is isn't it?" Lily added.
"Aye, sir~!" Happy concluded.
The three exceeds watched the sparkling couple from the back with stoic faces as Freed, Evergreen, and Bickslow dropped their jaws in shock.
"This is going to take a while to get used to," Bickslow face-palmed himself, sighing.
Evergreen pulled her fan out and fanned herself. "Though it's pretty much going to be an everyday occurrence."
"They are the most popular couple right now in Sorcerer's Magazine," Lily pointed out as he held the article.
Freed instantly grabbed it and shoved it into his face, scrutinizing the content. As Lily had stated, Laxus and Lucy were indeed voted the current most popular mage couple by 98% of its readers.
"I can't believe this," Freed uttered, falling down in shock.
"Which is why you're the hardest one to deal with in this group besides Happy," Carla remarked, grabbing the magazine back from him.
"Ahhhhhhh! That's mean Carla!" Happy complained.
Carla just stuck out a tongue in apology.
"Hey!" Laxus yelled from ahead. "What's taking you guys so long?!"
Lucy looked back at them, too, with a worried face. "Is something the matter?" she asked.
"No. Nothing's wrong," they immediately replied as Evergreen dragged Freed by his collar along the paved ground.
"Ever...it hurts," he muttered as Evergreen continued to drag him.
The group began walking around town as Lucy drew a map of Margaret Town from her memory of the place a few months back. Each shop, apartment, building, street, and road was drawn to the smallest detail. Not once did she blink while doing so and not once did she hesitate in drawing it.
"There, done!" Lucy said proudly, admiring her work.
Bickslow whistled. "That was fast, Lucy. Did you memorize the entire town?"
"Yep," she said, smiling brightly. "The last time I came here to visit Jura, he showed me around Margaret Town."
"Once Lucy sees something, she memorizes it instantly," Carla smiled.
"Is it magic? Like the one Rufus Lore from Sabertooth uses?" Freed asked.
"Nope. She's just born with great memorization skills," Lily replied, smiling proudly.
"Honestly, it was a great help every time Carla, Lily, and I got lost somewhere," Happy laughed nervously. "Lucy would instantly know where we were when we described our surroundings to her and she would come rushing to us."
Laxus smiled as he patted Lucy's head. "Great work, Lucy."
Lucy looked up at him and beamed her angelic smile, immediately causing him to flare up. "It's nothing."
"Now then, what should we do while we're here? What do you guys want to do?" Laxus asked.
"Honestly speaking, there's nothing much to do here is there?" Freed commented as he looked at the map.
