Strolling casually in town, holding each other's hand, Laxus and Lucy began looking around and stopping here and there. If Lucy spotted something she liked, she would glance at it before walking on but Laxus somehow always noticed and would drag her back.

"Do you like this?" he asked, picking up the stuffed bunny.

Lucy's eyes shimmered upon seeing the bunny but averted her eyes. "No," she murmured.

Laxus smiled to himself at how cute she was. "Granny, I'll be getting this."

"Understood young man," the granny laughed jovially. "It's for your girlfriend there isn't it?"

He grinned. "That's right."

"He called you his girrrrrlfrrrriend~" Happy teased as he rolled his tongue.

"Lucy, you got quite the catch there," Carla smiled as she nudged Lucy.

Lily stayed silent but nodded his head in agreement. Lucy blushed even more.

As the granny gave the stuffed bunny to Laxus, Laxus gave it to Lucy. Holding the bunny, Lucy's eyes sparkled like that of a kid's. Laxus gulped as he shifted his gaze away. This was a new side he was seeing to her and even though she looked like a kid, she was so cute.

"Do you like it?" he asked hesitantly with a tint of blush on his face.

Lucy widened her eyes and smiled, nodding her head. "En! I love it!" she exclaimed.

Now, it was for Laxus to widen his eyes in surprise at seeing the adorable reaction Lucy just gave. Compared to her usual beautiful self, her cute self was something else. Everything around her sparkled as tiny little flowers began floating around her. As Laxus stared at the adorable Lucy who was enjoying the bunny, some people spotted them and pointed them out.

"Hey isn't that Laxus the S class mage and Lucy Heartfilia from Fairy Tail?" a boy said to his friends.

"Now that you say it...they are!" he replied.

Soon, a crowd of boys and girls began pointing them out. The girls squealed over how handsome and muscular Laxus still was while other girls glared daggers at Lucy. But even they had to admit that Lucy looked perfect standing next to Laxus. Her beauty was incomparable. The boys all fanned over Lucy at seeing her in the public and during the past several months they hadn't seen her in Sorcerer Weekly, she had gotten much more beautiful. Laxus saw this and shaded Lucy from their sight as he let out a menacing aura.

"Laxus?" Lucy asked, looking up. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing," he replied back, turning back to Lucy. "Where are we meeting your friends again?"

"A little further up," Lucy replied back.

The exceeds looked back at the crowd of people that had followed them and saw them all down on the floor. Happy, Carla, and Lily all paled upon seeing what Laxus did to them just with a single glare. The girls who had glared daggers at Lucy were now crying on the ground.

Serves them right, the three thought. Who told them to glare at Lucy?

The boys, on the other hand, were a completely different story. Their faces had paled to a definite white color as their bodies started trembling in fear. Some had even shit their pants and for a second there, the three had seen a spark of lightning. Sweat-drops appeared on their faces as they eyed Laxus.

"What's wrong?" Laxus asked, noticing the three's stares. He had totally disregarded the crowd behind them and carried on his business as usual.

The exceeds shook their head. "No, nothing," Lily answered.
