Nikki POV

"your coming to?" I asked astonished.

"yeah, is that a problem??" he asked.

I didn't know what to say...

On one hand I really like zack on the other I can't stand to be heart broken. Iv never really told anyone but I was engaged once. To a boy who I'd been with since I was about 10. Jus before we were gonna run away together I found out he'd been sleeping with my bestfriend! I jus can't take that kind of pain anymore!

" yes it is!" Is all I yelled and walked away.

I couldn't think of anything else!

I just needed sometime away from him.. Clear my head.

I walked around the hospital..

I didn't know what to do. My shift was over.

I decided to go and see my lil babyy!!

Aww I wonder how lauras doing?

I took a taxi to lauras house.

"Nikki!" laura screamed and hugged me.

I walked into her bedroom.

Her pink bedroom lit up.

I sat on her big kingsized bed.

"soo, how's the baby?" I asked.

"taylors good" she replied.

"aww that's good.. U have to come in for a check tomorrow okay?" I responded

"yeah okay.. I'm gonna be a mum! " she answered.

She sat next to me.

I smiled. " I'm gonna be an aunt!" we both laughed. " can I just say he really does love you, if he knew about the baby... He'd wanna be there for you and" I rub her tummy with my hand " and for him"

She stood up and looked outside the window.

" I'm sorry laura." I apoligised

She looked at me, with tears running down her face. "I really did love him too"

She wiped the tears and said "soo how's you and zack?"

My face droped. "I ermm don't wanna talk about it"

Laura came back and sat next to me.

"okay well wenever your ready"

I didn't know if I should tell laura?

But I decided to.. " no one nos the but when I was in America, I got engaged to this boy... It was amazing. He wrote I Love You in the sky. A day before we were gonna run away together I found out he slept with my bestfriend!"

Laura hugged me. "I'm soo sorry.. Is that why you don't wanna be too near to Zack?"

I nodded then whispered. "Dr Jake wants me and him to go for a 3day trip to help poor people who can't afford to come to the hospital.."

"Nikki, all you need to do is stay out of his way if you really don't want to fall in love with him, go on the trip and I'll see you in 3 days" laura said..

I smiled. "okay.. Well then I won't be doing your check up.. It would be hannah"

I layed down on her bed. She followed.

"do you wanna stay here tonight??" laura asked.

"if that's okay?" I answered

We talked all night. We acted like we are sisters. I almost forgot about Taylor untill he rang me at 1 in the morning.

"where are you?" he asked.

"I'm sleeping at lauras.. Why?" I answered.

There was an akward silence after lauras name.

"okay, could you do me a favor? Please let me hear her voice one more time" he pleaded.

I put the phone next to laura and asked her to talk not telling her who it was.

"hello?" she said.

No reply.

"hellooo??" she said louder.

I picked up the phone and pressed the disconnct button.

Taylors POV.

"mr black??" a teacher called.

I knocked my self outta my own world..

I looked around, I was in English. I had been thinking so much that i'd actually got lost in my thoughts.

Laura was on the other side of the class. I jus stared at her the whole time. Everytime she'd look at me.. I'd get a funny feeling in my tummy. Hoping this time she'd say hi, or even smile at me. But everytime I'm let down.

When the bell rang I gathered my books and walked to the door and waited for laura to walk out.

As soon as I saw her I grabed her hand I draged her into the closet. She screamed but I put my hand on her mouth.

I slamed the door shut.

"LET GO OF ME!" she screamed.

"jus hear me out please!" I whispered.

She stoped struggling.

"I'm sorry for everything. I didn't think that when I made that bet with my dad that i'd actually fall in love with you.. " I said.
