Ch.59

Nikkis POV

I paced back and forth waiting for zack and nick to walk through the room.

The sirens were starting to make my head hurt. "they're gonna be alright" the nurse trying to convince me.

"no there not! It's all my fault!" I yelled.

"Nikki?" Jake asked coming up to me.

"Jake" I cried and he hugged me.

"what's wrong?" he asked.

I pointed towards the ICU room and told him what happened.

"It had been ages and there still not out" I told him.

"it's okay, I'll go and see" he said letting go of me.

I grabbed his arm.. "don't"

"chloes in there Nikki" he replied.

He walked into the room next to the ICU room and I followed.

I saw zack through the glass door.

He was wearing a gas mask, everyone was apart from one nurse.

Zack looked at me with a look I couldn't quite comprehend.

Then I realised what he was doing.

"zack! Dont!" I cried pressing my self up against the glass door.

He took of his gas mask and put it on the nurse who looked like she was gonna pass out.

Zack was holding his hand over his mouth while nick was gesturing for him to get out.

But zack being zack ignored nicks orders and grabbed the oxygen tank.

Zack POV

I held my hand over my mouth although I could feel the gas seeping through into my lungs.

Nick gestured for me to get out the room but I ignored him and did what I could to try and save everyone.

I grabbed the gas tank and put my mouth on the top of were the gas was being released.

The pain was intense... The gas was like knifed were being stabbed into my lungs.

I saw Nikki crying and banging on the door to try an make me stop but I had to do it, there's no other way to save the people in here.

All of a sudden I was being pulled away from the oxygen tank.

I looked around to see nick pulled me away, I tried to focus on him but I felt as though I was poising myself to the gas. I squinted to see him but I couldn't.

I fell to the floor tranna take breaths in but I was unable to, the sirens had gone off and the lights came on.

"zack! Stay with me!" nick yelled "Jake get the stretcher"

Before I knew it I was being taken away on the stretcher.

I tried to focus on Nikki who was crying and screaming for me.

She ran up to the stretcher and held my hand while I was being rolled somewhere.

Then the darkness took over my sight.

I slowly opened my eyes and saw Jake.

"Jake?" I asked tranna sit up.

"hey hey hey don't try and act tough" he told me lightly pushing me back.

"what happened?" I asked.

"well you stopped everyone getting jury by inhaling the oxygen..." he explained "but zack you could have DIED!"
