Zacks POV.

I opened my eyes and scanned the room..

I realised I was in hospital.

I Tried to sit up but I was attached to to so many machines!

"Hey zack, how you feeling?" dr Jake asked me.

I don't exactly know how I'm feeling..

"erm different" i said, dr Jake came up to me and did the routine checks.

"I'll be back in a bit okay" he told me walking out.

I couldn't ask the one question I was dying to ask.. Where's Nikki?

I knew she wouldn't be here, I was so rude to her.. It was really out of order.. I shouldn't have been so rude..

But what about that idiot stephen?? She seems to like him more..

"what you thinking so hard about?" Taylor asked.

I looked at him and shrugged "nothing"

Laura laughed,

"look bro, I'm sure nikkis here somewhere" Taylor said.

I looked at him confused "she was h-her-e?" I stuttered.

He nodded, "she was refusing to leave.. I wonder why she's gone now.."

She refused to leave!?

Taylor and Laura came and sat down.

They were talking amongst themselves when I saw Nikki walk past the door, she was wearing her lab coat.. Which means she was on duty.

"Nikki!" I yelled.

She stopped right infront of the door.

Taylor got up and went to Nikki.

"where'd you go?" he asked.

She lifted up the file she had in her hand. "work!" she said rudely.

"calm down Nikki I was just asking" he replied.

She huffed "well if your done asking.. Can I go!?"

Wow, what's up with her!?

"Nikki? What's wrong?" laura asked.

She was a bit nicer to Laura but still had harshness in her voice "people.."

Taylor put his hands on her shoulder but show stepped away.

"what's your problem!" he asked. She gave him a dirty look then tried to walk away, taylor blocked her way.

"GET THE HELL OUT MY WAY!" she yelled so loud people looked at her.

"DR NIKKI!" dr Jake yelled.

She straighter up and said "sorry sir"

"look dr Nikki, if you don't want to work.. Then just leave!" dr Jake told her.

"no I'm sorry sir.. " she apologised then walked of.

"wow weren't that abit harsh?" Laura asked.

"erm sorry about that.. My person life and professional life aren't allowed to mix" he explained.

"oh okay" Taylor replied.

"can I speak to you for a minute" Jake asked.

When he asked I got a weird feeling in the pit of my stomach..
