"Should we let them know we're here before or after the game?" I ask as Megan and I walk into the Marlins stadium.
Today I wore my Dansby jersey that I had recently bought. Hey if I'm going to put in effort I'm gonna put in 100%.

"Well I was thinking, you know how the guys sigh autographs before the game? We should get in line and do that. That way they know we're here and maybe they'll both play well." Megan proposes.
I smile nodding. "That's perfect." Walking into stadium we see a line of kids waiting down by the dugouts on both sides. "Look! Dansby and Ender are both signing right now!" I point.
Dansby was on one side of the dugout while Ender was on the other. "Well come on let's go see our men!" Megan takes off down the stairs to wait in Ender's line.
My excitement grows as I wait in line. Dansby looked so genuinely happy signing autographs and meeting fans. "Hi?" A small voice says pulling me from thoughts. I look down to see a little blonde girl wearing the same jersey as me and holding a baseball.
"Hi there." I grin squaring down to her level.
"I like your shirt." She says shyly.
"Well I like yours to." I reach forward poking her belly and making her giggle.
"Alexis! Honey you can't run off like that!" A blonde woman runs up.
"I wanted to see Dansby mommy!" The little girl pouts. She was honestly so adorable.
"I know sweetheart, but we have to get to the back of the line. You can't just run up to the front." Her mom explains to her.
"But I won't make it to the front before the game." She pouts.
"Ma'am." I speak up catching the woman's attention. "Hi I'm Taegan." I hold my hand out for her which she shakes.
"Alison." She nods.
"I don't mean to interrupt but if you don't mind, Dansby and I are pretty close so I can take Alexis up there with me." I offer as Alexis begins jumping up and down.
"Please mommy! Please let me go with Dansby's pretty friend." She begged pulling on her mom's leg.
Her mom smiled down at her and shook her head. "That would make her day."
"Alrighty then. You ready to meet Dansby?" I ask Alexis who nods furiously.
I take her hand while her mom stays behind us as we work our way through the line. As we get closer I make sure to keep my hat down and head down. Alexis lets out a squeal as Dansby approaches us. "Hey there little miss." He says to Alexis who's smile grows wider.
