People were starting to clear out finally as the night began to wined down. Ever since Austin got here Dansby as yet to leave my side and been extra lovey, not that I've minded though. As Austin walked up to us though he tightened his grip on me pulling me in front of him and wrapping his arms around my waist while resting his chin on my head.

"Well I'm headed out, thanks for having me though." Austin says reaching me.

"Yea of course it was good to see you again." I say smiling.

"We should meet up, go out sometime." I watch as his eyes fall on Dansby. "All of us I mean, you know for old times sake."

I laugh and nod. "That sounds fun, just give me a call when you want to plan it. I'll have to work around this ones schedule but I'm sure I can find some time." I nod towards Dansby.

"I will. Bye Taegan." He leans down giving me a hug. "Nice to meet you Dansby." He holds his hand out shaking Dansby's.

"You two man, have a safe drive home." We watch as he heads out the gate of my backyard, saying goodbye to my parents on the way. "I'm not to fond of him." Dansby admits stepping next to me.

"He's just a friend, don't worry." I assure him giving his arm a squeeze.

"I don't care who he is. He was looking at you the way only I can look at you. I'm not mad it's just like...." I smile as he stumbled over his words and his protectiveness. "I love you, and I'm the only one who can enjoy looking at you like that."

"Oh and how was he looking at me?" I question curiously.

"Like he's seen you naked." His eyes then go wide. "He uh he hasn't seen you naked has he." I let out a laugh and shake my head.

"No Austin has never returned seen me naked." I chuckle wrapping my arms around him and laying my head on his shoulder. "It's cute when your jealous."

"Shut up. You're my girl and everyone should know that." He mumbles kissing my head.

"Mmhh I don't think anyone doubts it's." I say as I wave to some of Jeremy's friends that I had invited.

"Y'all leave Wednesday after your game for a three game series then your home for like two weeks right?" I ask as Dansby, Megan, Ender and I sit in our living room watching a movie.

"Yup, you'll be stuck with us for 2 weeks." He teases running a hand through my hair as my head lay in his lap.

"I think I could put up with that." I smile reaching up and touching his cheek.

"Will y'all have a off day durning those two week?" Megan asks.

"Uh yea I think we should." Ender nods pulling out his phone. "Let me check." He scrolls for a moment before nodding. "Yea it's a Thursday."

"Well why don't Taegan and I take that day off and we can go to Helen and go tubing for the day?" Taegan offers.

Dansby immediately nods. "I haven't been tubing in years, I think it would be fun."

"Sounds good to me." I nod sitting up on the couch and crossing my legs.

We all turn to Ender expecting an answer when he throws his hands up. "I've never been tubing.What is it?"

Megan's jaw drops. "We have choice to go now! It's so fun we all get in these inner tubes like the ones we put in the pool and we just float down the river. It's relaxing but also funny because 9 times out of 10 Taegan gets stuck and then falls out."

I nod pouting a bit. "That or if I haven't fallen out Megan will flip me out so some how I always end up in the water."

"Yea Helens pretty cool to man, it's like a little German town. It's got all these cool stores and such." Dansby adds.

"Oh sounds cool. I'm for it." Ender agrees making Megan clap in excitement.

"Aw yay! It will be our first mini road trip as a group." Megan cheers getting up and pulling Ender with her. "I'm going to go start planning. Night guys." With that the two disappear up the stairs leaving Dansby and I alone.

"Want another beer?" I ask after a moment of silence.

"Yea I'll take one." He nods as I pull myself up and walk into the kitchen.

"So the all-star break is in a few weeks." I mention popping the tops off our bottles.

"Oh right, I've been wanting to talk to you about that. Thanks." He takes the beer from my hand kissing my cheek. "I was thinking, how would you feel about a vacation just me and you?"

"Where you thinking superstar?" I smile taking a sip.

"Well at first I was thinking lets go down to Miami and watch Ender because I'm sure he's going to make it, but the longer I though I decided I just wanted some alone time with you." He pulls me into his lap and wraps his arms around my waist. "So me, you and a resort in Key West how does that sound?"

"That sounds perfect." I agree leaning my head on his shoulder. "I can't wait to have you all to myself for a week, no baseball, no friends, no work just you and I."

"Mhhh me either. But we also have another thing to talk about that's coming up." I glance up looking at him telling him to continue. "You're birthday."

I had completely forgotten that my birthday was coming up. "Oh yea. That is in 2 weeks."

"Yea it is." He chuckles giving my side a squeeze. "So, what do you want?"

"You." I answer bluntly making him blush a bit.

"Ok you can get that on other days as well. Now
I'm serious, what do you want. Anything you want I'll get it." He says as his fingers play with my hair.

"I don't know, I have everything I want." I admit letting my hand travel up to the base of his neck.

Dansby sighs letting his chin rest on my shoulder. "Come on there's got to be something."

I shake my head. "No really like I can't think of a single thing I need. Most of the time if I need or want something I just go buy it you know." I chuckle.

"So you're leaving me in the dark as to what to get you." He groans.

"I guess I am." I laugh making Dansby just shake his head.

We stay silent, both of us watching the movie playing in front of us. Getting bored with the movie I turn my attention to Dansby. The way his lips would turn up slightly when something was funny, the light reflecting off his eyes.

Getting my self worked up I let my head fall on his shoulder as I begin kissing his neck. He remains still for a moment until I find his weak spot making his head drop back. "Taz what are you doing."

"Nothing." I say innocently as I let my hand fall from his chest into his lap over top his basketball shorts.

"Taegan." He warns, his voice dropping a level letting me know I'm slowly accomplishing what I want.

"Dansby." I counter letting my lips slowly work up to his. When I finally reach them he instantly responds by deepening it and pulling me into his lap so I'm straddling him.

My hands move to his hair where I quickly throw his hat off that was sitting backwards making him look so sexy. His hands move from my hips to my butt and rest there for a minute before moving up under my shirt and lifting it off me. Our lips separate for a second as he tosses it to the side before he reconnects them to my neck.

"W-we need to get to my room." I manage as I let my eyes close.

Dansby nods and he stands up letting me wrap my legs around his torso carrying me up to my room. Laying me on the bed, he rids himself of his shirt before coming back down to my lips. "I love you Taegan, more than you'll ever know." He whispers brushing a piece of hair out of my face.

"I love you too Dansby." I smile reaching up to his hair. "Now show me exactly how much you love." I smirk as his eyes darken and he grabs my waist sliding me under him.

"Oh I plan to baby girl."
