"Rise and shine sleepy head." I smile running my hand through Dansby's hair. We got in around 2 am last night and I had already requested the day off so I let Dansby sleep in till 11:30.
"Mhm what time is it?" He mumbles rolling over and opening his eyes a bit.
"11:30, I wanted to let you sleep." I continue running my hand through his hair.
"You didn't go to work?" I shake my head.
"No I knew we were getting in late so I went ahead and got off today too." Dansby nods closing his eyes again and pulling me into his chest.
"I love you." He mumbles into my hair.
"I love you too. But if you really love me then you won't mind what I did." I grin sheepishly.
"Oh no, what'd you do?" He asks in a teasing tone.
"I may have called your aunt and she may be on her way over here with Lily so we can spend the day with her and take her to the zoo." Is at slowly hoping he will be ok with us going out and doing something today.
"That sounds like fun. When are they getting here?" He smiles leaning up.
"12. I also told her Lily could spend the night and you could take her home tomorrow." I smile sweetly at him. I knew wouldn't be mad because he loves Lily and getting to spend time with her.
"That's fine." He chuckles. "I better get up and get ready though cause I know the second she walks in she's gonna be ready to go."
"I'm so excited!" I says giddily as Dansby climbs out of bed leaving me sitting on it. I had already gotten up and dressed about an hour ago.
"Why's that?" He asks amused walking into the closet.
"Because," I begin following him. "I love the zoo! I haven't been in forever!"
Dansby chuckles turning around and capturing me in his arms. "So tell me, is this day more for you or Lily?" He smirks.
"Well I'm not gonna deny I've been dropping hints about how much I want to go to the zoo for MONTHS now but you're just oblivious." I tap his nose making him shake me off with a chuckle. "So I took it upon myself to plan something she and I would both love."
"You are something else Taegan Zaiser." He shakes his head.
"That I am, but you love me." He nods leaning down to kiss me but I duck out of his arms and take off downstairs.
"No time for that gotta pack a snack bag and such!" I yell hearing him laughing in the other room.
October in Georgia is weird, it can go from 80 degree weather to 50 degrees in a matter of two hours. So I wore some light jeans with a white tied up shirt and a pink sweater over it.

When the doorbell rang the dogs both took off to the door followed by me. Opening it I was meet with Dansby's Aunt Lisa and an excited Lily bouncing up and down. "Taegan!" Lily screams reaching for me to take her out of her moms arms.
